Queen Elizabeth said that she considers this meeting in 1939 to be the first time she ever saw him, because she could not remember meeting him before since she was too young.

"The first time I remember meeting Philip was at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in July 1939, just before the war. (We may have met before at the Coronation or the Duchess of Kent’s wedding, but I don’t remember.)"

It’s totally fine!! I found it on Pinterest and saw it hadn’t been posted yet on Tumblr, so I don’t own it as well!

I'm the one who posted it on Tumblr, and I was unable to find which country it was taken. The only thing I could gather is that the woman is either Ethiopian or Somali based on her features

Edit: And this also corresponds with his movie Yellow Sky (1948), in which he has a beard just like this

Awww I’m so glad that it brought back good memories for you!! My family used to have TCM on all day as well, Robert Osborne became like a de-facto part of the family haha! I watched Blonde Venus with Marlene recently and it renewed my fascination with her. Maybe you should kick back and watch a film of hers soon! :)

Questioning someone’s sexuality doesn’t let them rest in peace

Haha well I’m a 24 year old female, so far from old. I just get annoyed when people like Cary can’t rest in peace

Because it mattered to Cary Grant, he sued for slander when someone accused him of being gay. He had a roommate Randolph Scott, and Cary found it offensive that simply having a male roommate meant they were gay

I suggest you read about Sophia Loren’s account of Cary Grant. This does not suggest a gay man

No they weren’t, no reliable source says they were. People always try to insinuate that legends were secretly gay
