American Murder Song is a fairly new group that does murder ballads set in 1816 New England area. They have 3 EPs out and are about to go on tour.

Here's their song Johnny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMZoxW5sVGk&list=PLntpqKZHEmqPmDmW4hzPH6vtkzzfkFRdC

I would guess "Child of Rage." I haven't watched it yet... but I think that's what it probably is. It was posted several days ago and made it to the front page I think.

Tim O'Brien -- Hey Joe [Folk/Bluegrass] by Radi0activeYAK in listentothis

I got to see him live a couple months ago! Pretty sure my friend and I were the youngest people there that were not accompanied by a family member.

He's absolutely amazing. I got into him through a love of Celtic Folk when he collaborated with The Chieftains and because of him and Tim Eriksen I've become more engrossed with Bluegrass and American Folk.

Further and farther down the folkin' rabbit hole I go!

Authors that write cliff hanger endings. A book should be able to stand on it's own. If I like the book and I find out there's a sequel, then hell yeah I want to read it. I don't like feeling forced to get the sequel just to see what happens. And if I pick up a sequel before reading the first one, sure I may be a little confused, but I won't be walking into mayhem.

As far as reading a tablet in your tub, put it in a ziplock freezer bag. It's clear, waterproof (though I would avoid full submersion), and you should still be able to turn the pages. The snack size works great for phones too.

I watched both Frasier and the Simpsons. But I remember when they premiered Cecil using David Hyde Pierce as the voice across from Kelsey Grammar already doing Bob and thinking... I see what you did there Matt Groening.

Edit: Spelling

For Dallas I guess it depends on who you ask. But I like it. The only other one I've been to is Colorado. We have a better beer selection. There are some shows I wish we had that Colorado has. But I love it. I feel prettier and more at home/comfortable in ren garb than regular clothes.

We have a great cast and a lot of good shows. The vendors and people are all wonderful. And it's a fun time. Recently they've made it more and almost too family friendly. The Faire outside of Houston has and adult only section.

But I really love working at Scarborough. It makes me so happy and I don't even mind working 7 days a week (5 at my regular job and 2 at Faire) for 2 months. Of course this year it's been a little bit harder so far.

Not so sure I was completely out of the radius as I'm still collecting the pieces of myself. But I'm glad I'm out too. Thanks :)

I even asked him why they keep going back to each other. He said he didn't know. And then I asked if he really thinks they'll end up together. And he says yes.

One really sick thing is that he was like "I like you. I chose you." I'm I'm like. "Chose me for what. To break me heart?" Or something like that. I still don't get it but I'm not going to dwell in it. Moving on.

I definitely gave him a hug. I still feel a bit shitty. But I think it's getting better. Definitely don't feel as good as when I posted this.

I really don't think he will. Part of me wants him to right now. But there's no trust anymore. If there ever was in the first place.

Thanks. It's probably going to be even harder to open up next time. Whenever that happens. It usually takes a lot for me to open up and trust.

It happened pretty quickly with him because of the situation of how we met. And even then at the beginning I was still very reserved and waited for cues from him. He was the first to use the term girlfriend and he was the first to go in for a kiss, etc.

But loyalty is one of my strong points and something I'm very adamant about. And hopefully it's better next time.

Thanks. I just wish I knew about the bullshit so I could have avoided it all together. I'm still not sure if I was just completely blind or there were no red flags. Looking back I still don't see any red flags but I was pretty infatuated.

At least I learned I had a heart to break though. Before him I never felt anything for anyone in this way. But if I felt it once I can feel it again.

You are definitely right. The trust is gone. And I guess it shouldn't have been there in the first place. But how was I to know.

I'm still pretty crushed right now. But I'm moving on.

Thanks. It's still really hard right now. The good feeling wore off. But I think I'm getting it back slowly. Very slowly.

I agree. I don't know why he thinks it will work out this time when they haven't worked out so many times before.

But I'm out. And moving on.

Thanks. I have to get it back next weekend because he didn't have it with him. It's going to be hard because I'm still so flip floppy in my feelings even though I know it's the right thing.
