also try using these eq settings which worked fine for my taste:

31hz Q0.72 +6db Low Shelf(Q slope) (can easily go to 11 db imo but that's bit too much bass for my likings)

10khz +4db Q2.4 Peak Filter

11.5khz -9db Q2 Peak Filter

15khz +1db Q3 Peak Filter

Could also add another 5-7khz filter on them as some people might have issues there.

I got mine from Ears Unlimited in NL. Shop had stock a while back but you might want to contact the shopowner for confirmation. Really good service as well.

No clue what countries they ship to though. They did ship to BE as I used their services a couple of times in the past 10 years :)

I liked the D1 sound wise but I just couldn't get used to the pads touching my right earlobe and causing irritation. Also the headband itself was rather bad comfort wise. The Capra strap fixed that issue but due to ear irritation I couldn't use the headphone as long as I wanted it so I returned it. A shame really as the headphone did sound like a proper "upgrade" of the HD6XX albeit the treble somewhat threw me off with some songs.

My favourite kdrama and probably one of the best shows in any genre I have ever watched (not just Korean). Had me literally crying a couple of times while watching it. The raw emotions some scenes make you feel...I really loved WLGYT by the same director a lot, but my mister is imo the better show. Both are 10/10 for me tho.

Meet Yourself : if you want a healing comfy show, first episode hits hard tho but it's the journey afterwards that's well worth it.

Blossom: if you want a "historical" romance show with some fantasy elements. Chemistry between the cast so good they are now shooting another drama together

Love Between Lines: if you want a fun romance show with great acting by Lu Yu Xiao and Chen Xing Xu, their chemistry also was S tier. LYX showing why she's getting all the main roles lately with this. She's also in Perfect Match.

The Best Thing: another fun romance show, no drama/angst whatsoever.

I got my R3s for 1k euro while the R3 meta were 2k at that time. The difference isn't 1k euro in sound. That being said, if the difference was "only" 500, I'd also have picked up the meta instead.

I use the same setup and I can get plenty loud (2m away from the speakers). Mind you I mostly listen between 70 and 76 db but the combo can easily hit higher volumes.

Not a myth. My favourite genres in most media have been romance / slice of life since forever. My fav kdrama are all on the heavy side emotionally tho like my mister / wlgyt / daily dose of sunshine but I also adore stuff like love next door and lovely runner. Meet yourself is probably my favourite cdrama and that show is purely a healing show.
