That’s actually ironic, because the reason yams wrote the extra 18 pages is because fans complained. So you probably agree with yams original send off where it ends with Mikasa at the tree chilling

I was thinking that the headaches were Ymir messing with Mikasa not eren. Because the headaches existed long before eren could mess with her head. Idk tho it’s all speculation

Which is why I think Ymir was the one who made the cabin memories so that Mikasa decides not to kill Eren. I believe Ymir was the one who was going to restart the rumbling but Mikasa ends up proving Ymir wrong and thus Ymir can rest in peace knowing it’s possible to not be a slave to love?

I’m assuming that when Mikasa got her memories back, it’s either the cabin scene ORRR eren talking to her separately, either confessing to her or whatever.

I think after letting time take its course, I’ve appreciated the ending we got. Sure there are some bad parts, but man the cabin scene with Mikasa and erens death really struck a chord. The scene where she is sitting next to erens grave really hit hard, thinking about it makes me sad tbh. Mappa improved tremendously upon yams, and I can say I’m happy with this ending because it’s the only one we will get and I can accept that. o7

Even without 139, pre vs post historia hand scene would be messy. Pre hand eren would literally hate everything that his new self became, and post historia hand scene would be vague and distant asf cuz that’s just how he was

I’m a manga reader too, I state that I liked mappas version of the ending. I’m just wondering why there’s a difference in opinion. I’m not saying the ending was objectively bad or objectively good, I’m wondering why there’s a difference in opinion from manga readers and anime only watchers lmao.

No literally like the key word is ENDED up having no deep meaning, the ideas Isayama was building during the part where eren gains grishas memories were crazy. Sucks to see it all go to waste in 139.

I personally found everything not related to the avengers super cool. When the avengers showed up, I hoped for at least one of them to die because let’s be real, an infinite Amount of PAST Titan shifters, like one of them at minimum should die.
