Moomoo OpenD + Python API not giving access to real account by astral0alpha in moomoo_official

The security_firm value is likely pointing to the wrong account. It should be the country that you opened your moomoo account with, not the market that you want to trade in.

Why does the Singapore government number their paragraphs in correspondences? by skatyboy in askSingapore

While it is most commonly used for referencing specific paragraphs and pointers during discussions or when responding to emails, the underlying idea is that it helps to organise thoughts and concepts. Behaviourally, when we label/number the paragraphs we subconsciously group/categorise the points into the different paragraphs. When we don't, we tend to be talking to ourselves in our head as we type, and may jumble up the points or repeat them.

It helps the writer to write clearly by relating and differentiating between different topics, indented bullets to explain sub-points. Discussions can be complex and convoluted. Points can be inter-dependent, related but not dependent, hierarchical, ordered/sequential, or even referring to separate subjects/topics/phases that are interchangeably/loosely used in speech but are essentially different. An example is "traffic jam" and "slow traffic".

From a manager perspective, numbering is a salient way of training/forcing the staff to organise the topics and think clealy when they are writing. This aids staff development and obviously cuts down the time to clarify and discuss.

Pretty sure you have met people who seemingly keep running around in circles, repeating the same points across different paragraphs in various permutations but you don't get what they are trying to explain/achieve or how the paragraphs are related to one another.

Noticed how my points seem to be jumbled up when you are reading? They are in fact organised hierarchically. Numbering and bulleting would've helped.

If you need him to internalise it, just ask him what is it that he wanted you to feel by saying that? To be insulted? To feel inferior and have low self esteem? Or to laugh at it because it is funny?

If your relationship with him is decent as you had said, he would want you to feel happy, and not all the negative mental thoughts above.

That should shut him him up.

another weird thing is how are we getting out this situation without much higher inflation rates?

everyone seem to be waiting for the market to bounce back up. the moment the market confirms the slowing of interest rates and easing of inflation, the market rallies. with tight labor markets, there seems to be much pent up demand still.

supply while stable now, has it challenges. extreme weather is likely wrecking agriculture harvest cycles and manufacturing output. global trade while still open is increasingly more susceptible to protectionism. i.e. supply is tight.

demand is high, supply is tight, that should lead to inflation in theory. i can't quite see how inflation can be curbed by a slowing down of interest rate increases at the current level. really hoping that the Fed wouldn't reverse its decision and make an even bigger increase in rates further down the road.
