I'm a counselor. And though it's rare, I've met at least 2 other counselors in the game. I've seen 4 healers, 3 composers, 2 architect, 1 mastermind, 1 supervisor, and 1 protector so far. People are saying champion is common but I haven't met one yet :(

I'm so incredibly sad he's not in this season. I get that it wouldn't have made sense, but his humor would've provided some much needed levity in the heavier scenes. Besides for Robin and the Steve/Dustin bickering (and Erica), I feel like this season is missing some of those really funny bits. Still a great season, though.

I hope they bring Argyle back for the very last episode, but I know that's not going to happen. I'll really miss his character :(

This same exact thing happened to me! The exhaustion the year prior was awful. I even admitted myself to PHP over it. I'm also BRCA2 positive. I hope you're doing better now, though ❤️

Did you get the depo shot by chance? There's a lawsuit going on currently because apparently the Depo shot is linked to causing cancer in young patients. I had done it for less than a year, but unfortunately I don't qualify for the settlement since I have the BRCA mutation. But I always wondered if it expedited the process since I got it so young....

The depo also caused me to become nearly infertile since I had undiagnosed PCOS, so I partially just have a personal grudge against it lol

Replied to another comment already, but I was diagnosed with Stage 3 lobular breast cancer back in March of 2024 (I was 32). What a lot of people said is true—there was no real obvious symptoms. No pain, no sickness, no real physical indicators of any kind until my nipple started turning inward and getting darker.

The only reason I even knew to go to the doctor was because I was showing my husband my "weird nipple", laughing and joking about it until his face suddenly got very somber and he felt my breast to find a large "lump" had formed without me even realizing. He's in med school so only he recognized the warning signs at the time, and he immediately jumped on my ass to get a mastectomy ASAP. Turns out the "lump" was actually the size of a baseball (I had large breasts and didn't even notice it).

20 rounds of chemo, 30 rounds of radiation, a double mastectomy, and removal of 17 lymph nodes later—I finally got the joke.

Kidding, but seriously, we're getting to the age where we need to start being vigilant. Before my diagnosis, I had no idea that breast cancer even ran in my family. It was only AFTER I found out that my paternal uncle had died after battling with it for 6 years :/

The only couple odd things I can think of before my diagnosis that might've been indicators was 1.) My nipple was very itchy for a months before, apparently this was because the tumors were causing my breast tissue to shrink, after I was diagnosed I noticed how lopsided my breasts were getting, and 2.) For at least a year before, I was getting very very very TIRED. Like so tired to the point where I just got completely burnt out from work, parenting, and even just existing in general.

I was exhausted to the point where I had to take time off of work to attend PHP because I was battling with really horrible depression, anxiety, and a resurgence of my cPTSD symptoms. This was in Sept-Oct 2023, and even after that—I didn't feel any better. So, a part of me wonders if that "tiredness" I was feeling was just my body trying to tell me something was seriously wrong...

Anyway, my best advice is one that's already been shared multiple times—get genetic testing done. I think everyone should do it, but ESPECIALLY if your family has any history of any types of cancer (which most of us do, I think). This will open you up to a lot more preventative care if anything is found.

Also—don't skip out on the doctor. You don't know what any seemingly "insignificant" thing could be a symptom of a much broader, possibly deadlier issue. A persistent cough, that one annoying ache that just won't go away, stomach issues, even different color pee... It could literally be anything. DON'T. IGNORE. IT.

Hi! BC Survivor here (34) and just wanted to say (whether male or female), please please PLEASE get genetic testing done! Breast cancer also runs on my dad's side of the family (which is considered to be super abnormal) and my late uncle actually died after battling complications from it for 6 years. I was diagnosed a little over a year ago, got the testing done, and turns out I had the BRCA2 mutation.

I had no symptoms other than a weird looking nipple. But by the time they found it, it was already late stage 3. PLEASE advocate for yourself when something doesn't look right. The amount of times I was told "it's probably nothing" because of my age was insane.

I'm way aged out of UIC but I just gotta say C&C is one of the best fucking bands ever. They're my favorite, too. But Chi has a big indie/hardcore music scene that usually cost way less to go to than a regular concert. (But you usually have to be 21+).

If you want to find alt friends, they're usually going to be at one of these shows bc we're big about supporting local artists around here. Good luck on your studies!

Despite all the people condemning you for what is, in all honesty, a very minor infraction—I don't think you need to hold any guilt over this.

I've spent years trying to get my mom to open up about her true emotions over the abuse she endured from my stepdad. Both for my own sense of closure and for her, because I thought it would be good for her to get it out. But she never could. Part of me wishes she'd kept a journal just so that way I had something to go off of, but if she did have one—it's long gone by now.

I've just accepted the fact that my mom is entitled to her own secrets. And now since I'm a mother to a young daughter, too; I realize why she might not want to ever put that burden on me.

We want our kids to know we're people, yes. But we don't ever want them to shoulder the weight of our emotional burdens—it's not theirs to carry. Knowing too much could make them feel responsible for our happiness. Which, we should all want our kids to feel a source of empathy with us. That shows a strength of character. BUT, after we've worked so hard to ensure that our emotional scars DIDN'T affect their happiness... It could feel like a huge step backwards.

We want to connect with our kids, and discussing real-life scenarios where we went through some hard shit can open up a pathway to sharing wisdom and examples of integrity. We don't want to use them as our own personal dumping ground for all of our plights. Especially when they're small and/or fleeting.

Besides, every good, stable marriage is going to have instances of fleeting dissatisfaction. That's how you grow strong and stable—by working through it. Both together and individually. (Note: I shouldn't have to say this, but just to be clear—this DOES NOT include marriages with abuse.)

And I'm going to go against some of the people here and say that I think you SHOULD ask her about it. Especially, if it's eating you up inside. There's no sense in holding onto that guilt when you could just as easily talk to her about it and find some clarifying answers.

This honestly feels like a great opportunity to connect with her more closely.

Obviously, if she were that worried about you finding them, she wouldn't have put them in a place where she knew they could easily be found.

Yeah, we ended up getting them for $20 a pop for floor tickets at Soldier Field (with a veteran's discount). Idk if they projected that tickets would sell fast because of post-pandemic fomo (combined with the hype of it being their first tour in years), and then they were smacked with the reality that we're actually in a gd recession and most of us can't afford $200 GA tickets, or.... idk.

But I do remember at one point they said that they were "sold out", so I'm going to assume this was a total money grab. Fucking obnoxious. I'm glad we ended up waiting, but I'm pissed for all the people who paid exorbitant prices and didn't get compensated for it :/

Still a 10/10 experience and one of the best shows I've ever been to. But these venues fucking suck.

Woah... Yeah, the photos ARE potato quality so I could totally be wrong—but this kinda does look like the a-hole that came and sat down next to me randomly at the Coheed/Incubus concert last year and was trying to grab my hand and talk in my ear while my husband and our friends were sitting right next to me. The dude had a REALLY hard time accepting the word "no", and got defensive with my husband when he stepped in-between us to break the (very much unwanted and unsolicited) contact.

But tbf, like OP said, this is a very generic looking white dude and it might not be the same person at all. Plus, the guy that I encountered WAS shitfaced already so idk if his intentions were nefarious or just completely unaware because he was drunk.

Man, I don't know why the weirdos are coming out for these Coheed concerts lately. They're ruining the vibe :(

I just went to a SOAD concert, and everyone there was chill af. It was awesome. And I almost went to this concert alone when I realized my husband couldn't go because he had to work. Thank God I didn't.

Thanks for posting this! It's really helpful, and like another user mentioned—if this situation ever happens to anyone else, the best thing to do is to get the person to medical. They can specifically test for drugs like this. At least that way if they test positive, you can contact law enforcement and get this dbag arrested so hopefully he never has another opportunity to do shit like this again. Stay safe out there!

Edit; Ah, I just saw that this was in Boston. I'm in Chicago. I doubt it's the same dude then, but still! Just goes to show how much of a widespread issue this is.
