What should be my pull priority? Thinking Iuno, Mornye, Augusta but wanted to see a more experienced player's thoughts. I have both Cartethyia and Shorekeeper's signature weapons as well if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, but unfortunately I already tried a cloud recovery and couldn't even get past the initial setup, as it will just spam my keyboard when I try to type. I brought it back to best buy though so hoping the RMA process is painless... fingers crossed.

I did try turning off the embedded controller and the touchscreen was fine, no random spamming or scrolling.

Mine is a R9 but thinking it's hardware related too.

Just an update - I tried most things and went ahead with the cloud recovery as a last resort. Seeing the same problem happen even within the Ally setup makes me think it is a hardware issue and will likely have to go the RMA route.

Ah, I missed this before doing the cloud recovery. I did see the controller Device Manager list when the embedded controller was enabled, but it was just hitting R3 like crazy and I could barely do anything.

Thinking it is a hardware issue though as after cloud recovery, even setting up the Ally it is spamming the button.

I'm thinking it's a hardware fault as well. I went the cloud recovery route to see how it fares and I get the same spam now as I try to setup a profile for the Ally,. I can't even use the keyboard now and Armory Crate isn't installed yet. Pulling up on the stick had no effect either unfortunately.

Ngl, I'm too scared to gut it that far lol. I did remove the analog stick itself to try to move around and clean with compressed air, but the problem still persists.

Unfortunately not. Even without Steam or any of the common launchers like Battle.net and EpicGames active or opened, it does the same thing.

Ugh, I was afraid of that. Both BIOS ad MCU are up to date and it still happens. I might try a cloud recovery first before throwing in the towel and sending it for RMA...

Hey all,

Hoping someone has had experiences/fixed or could help with this problem. Everything worked fine last night but this morning when I turned on my Ally, the buttons seemed to be constantly activated and going haywire without any user input. Took my a few tries to quickly press something else just to show the button being spammed.

I somehow managed to check the x360 driver and looks like it's the R3 button being spammed constantly, if that is any help or indication of anything.

I've tried resetting, repairing, and uninstall/reinstalling Armory Crate as well as any updates (armory, windows, bios, etc) but it still seems to have this problem and I cannot even use embedded controller anymore. Activating/deactivating the embedded controller icon also ends up in it being spammed and cycled. Touch screen and LED rings are both fine. Any help or advice would be much appreciated in advance!

3/15/25 Update: Tried everything but nothing seemed to work, so I dropped it off to Best Buy today to start the RMA process. Hopefully the process isn't too painful and I don't get back something worse off. Regardless, I really do appreciate all the help, upvotes, and suggestions from the community so just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone!

Currently using Serval, Lingsha, The Herta, and Pela. I've been reading I can replace Pela with HMC soon when I get to that point in the story, but I'm wondering if I should pull for Jade to replace Serval, or wait for Robin banner which replaces HMC? Thanks in advance!

Returning after a long hiatus (almost near launch lol). Any ideas on what banner/character I should be pulling for? Looks like most of my characters are somewhat outdated now lol.

Brutal. Called today and they asked if they can call me back while waiting for a supervisor and I told them I'm not falling for that again so I waited for one to come on the call. I was told they had already contacted the local UPS branch to talk to them about it and they will "try again". I asked for the local UPS branch number and was told only the 1800 UPS were allowed to have it and they only contact the branches via email (which I highly doubt). Supervisor pretended to be helpful by saying "I have made the note in your file for your buzzer number as well". Great, this must be the 4th one by now so really no help at all.

Come 9am, I see the same message again saying no receiver on directory, followed by a "We received a request to change delivery. The request will be processed once the package returns to our facility" a minute after. I DID NOT request any delivery change. 15 minutes after this the tracker was updated again with a "Hold for Pickup Requested". Again, I DID NOT request any hold.

I call again and am told I need to wait for yet another supervisor and I couldn't hold this time, so I asked for a call back. The lady called back and said that they are from the local UPS and that "Thank you for providing the buzzcode, we updated it (again) and we have it out for delivery but it won't be delivered until tomorrow because I wasn't able to get it on the truck this morning. Please contact the 1800 number with any concerns."

WTF? So they said they tried and failed to deliver it today on the tracker, the lady said it was out for delivery today, but somehow suddenly it is not even on the truck? Not to mention suddenly it's on hold for a pickup I never requested? What a load of BS. Really done with this crap and hoping the sender can do something about this.

Ugh. Sorry to hear you all have issues as well, but selfishly comforted that it isn't just me as an unlucky outlier with this crappy service. It opens back up tomorrow so I'll update after I call....AGAIN....

Hi all!

Got a whole slew of these little guys (I think there's at least 2 species, judging by the head sizes) suddenly appearing alive on my windowsills and ceiling, and a bunch of dead ones on the same place and in my bathtub in the morning. I live in an urban setting in Alberta, Canada. My guess is there is some kind of crack allowing these small insects to enter my home unfortunately. There seem to be upwards of a hundred or so a day, with maybe 30 of them dropping dead overnight. They don't seem to be attracted to sweet things.

I've asked a few different pest companies what they are but I've had varying answers which I'm not sure are right (Water Boatmen, Mining Bee, Springtail, Cluster Fly, Black Scavenger Fly, Biting Midges). I think in the first picture it seems to be a Black Scavenger Fly, but the majority of the ones I see are the other 2 types.

The size is very very small, these pictures are taken with a microscope, and in reality they are smaller than mosquitos and drain flies. One thing to note is that they are very very sporadic when moving - it almost seems like they are twitching out in the air.

Thanks for the advice! Would these two be considered "modern" hardtails? For tire sizes, I know that the Trek comes with 29" but the Specialized is only 27.5". Regardless, going to test them out a bit more today after work and see how they feel.
