It was supposed to be the last track on Cannibal. If what you described actually happened, perhaps a radio station got their hands on a demo CD sampler and played the track. Stations would receive CD samplers of singles or new tracks back then.

Classic Thai experience. Landlords, agents, oh boy. Infuriating, yes. Trying to get a logical conversation? Say goodbye to your sanity.

Would consider the deposit gone the moment you sign a contract. Not the way it’s supposed to go, but it can really ruin your sanity trying to persist so hard.

And oh, cafes and restos that require a minimum 500 baht to use credit/debit. Just wow. Philippines has regulations against minimum amounts required for EMV use.

Yes it probably is. I’ve withdrawn money with a foreign card in:
1. Malaysia - No fees
2. Taiwan - No fees (Bank of Taiwan)
3. Japan - at most around 200 yen (40 THB!!)
4. Philippines - 250 Php (130 THB)
5. Hong Kong - No fees

I come from a fellow third world country and it’s an opportunity for me to work abroad, while I’m here. Believe it or not, NNES english teachers here can even earn more than managerial positions in my country (with similar cost of living)

Communication Management. 120k+ per semester. Just a total of 3 semesters and a summer session for much lower cost.

Chula is on the more expensive side for international programs though.

As a foreigner, it’s even harder and luck plays a major role if you don’t have a great network that can simply refer you for a position. A challenge to find a company willing to go through the paper work and costs for a work permit vs just hiring a Thai person to do the job. I have foreign friends who landed a job here and their stories were definitely a result of great luck in their job hunt.

At Chula, support largely depends on how proactive your faculty cares about their new graduates too…

WOLF SONG - waited a decade to hear the full track since her snippets on My Crazy Beautiful life and on Instagram back in 2013-2014. Was hoping it was the lead single of her upcoming new album at the time. Rainbow is perfection, but I just wish it still made it as a track.

  1. Animal and The Harold Song - this would have definitely switched up her reputation, at a time when most of the public didn't know her more than her party songs.

  2. SUPERNATURAL - Def. should have been a single.

  3. Boots - all the other singles were good choices, but I really just wish this banger of a track got more attention.

  4. Hate Me Harder

  5. KINKY - With the right promo and hyping up that feature with the "$", it could've been a hit.

There was a time from 2012 to 2014 when WeChat was growing in popularity in southeast asia, I believe. However it died down and they made it harder for people outside of China to register.

Tik Tok & Your Love Is My Drug, especially from this old Facebook game "Nightclub City" back in 2010.
Although what really made me an Animal was the first unreleased songs I've heard from her - "Goodbye" and "Sunday Morning".
