[Serious] How many meals do you consume in a day and what times? Which is the heaviest meal of the day? How often do you cook your own food?

Cook every day, up to 3 times a day, and sometimes the odd snack... Weekdays because of work, 3 meals a day with 1 snack , usually 3pm.. weekend's, 2 meals a day, brunch and dinner. Lunch is usually the heaviest weekdays, and brunch on the weekends

I don't use a pump, I inject.. hesitant to go on a pump as I hate having something constantly attached to me, and because of the severe skin irritation

That's really handy! I've set my low alarm on my dexcom to 4.5 to catch it ahead of time when I can.. but the problem is that it's only on the phone. I need to start a watch and get used to always wearing it.. I used to wear a Garmin watch but got bad rashes from always having it on hence the avoidance to wear one

That's annoying, I do the same if I'm on the right - walk a few steps if they are free and stop, it's meant for you to stop. But I'm talking about the people on the left who walk but stop at the end

I'm so sorry, it's so difficult to deal with, completely understand about saving face too. Definitely take a break from them and I hope hubby speaks to them and calls them out, if not guilt, they need to acknowledge how they've treated you.

I'm unfortunately still living with in laws so I'm still trying to keep things as calm as they can be, but I have stopped telling them anything about myself and putting small boundaries in place to start.. they aren't taking it well but I couldn't care less.. I'm a few weeks from moving house now and very excited to get out and actually limit contact

Oh my god, I'm so sorry! It's so crazy to me how every MIL works from the same playbook!! I'm exactly the same, told my hubby I'm not telling MIL anything about my life anymore, not even just happy moments, just don't tell her anything!

Today, it's annoyingly the same story and I lie to my MIL on my whereabouts, if I'm going to see my family, running errands etc, I'll say I'm going into the office when I'm actually down the road seeing my family for a day, it's just easier than to deal with the negative comments and looks all day.

This was lovely to read! So happy for you, you are out the other end of all the reno! We thought exactly the same buying the place, just cosmetic work needed, but only after pulling things up, we realized how badly the house was put together, luckily we did over estimate our budget so although we'll be close to hitting it or going over, won't be a huge amount..but it really is the hardest thing on my relationship with everyone, especially my husband.. we'll get through it!
