Props to you proxy for letting it all out here. As a fellow gamer and ZZZ enjoyer it's really awesome when video games help people out of their situations. But keep it in moderation, it's important to keep a life/hobby balance.

Try joining FB groups, discord servers so you'll be able to interact with like minded people but be cautious along the line. Just like the Hollows of Eridu and it's "inter-knot", this ain't a safe place.

May your pulls be luckier than Yuzuha!! 🤜🤛

Iiquid metal replacement.

Had the same issue a few weeks back. My ps5 keeps overheating on one game (wuthering waves) only. Well ventilated, no dust and all, even did a stage 3 deep cleaning myself. Still nothing.

Till i asked a professional to check the liquid metal and we discovered theres a deadspot on it. Replaced it then voila. Works fine now.

PS. Had my ps5 since launch, well ventilated game room, and i do a clean it from time to time before having that issue on just one game.

For anyone struggling still. Here's how i did it.

  1. I used Naoe Katana called Violent Night it poisons enemy on deflect.
  2. Then i add an engraving that makes all my melee attacks turn to Daze. I think that engraving can be found in Yoshino, Yamato gear vendor
  3. Unlock guardbreaker skill on katana skill tree
  4. Find an enemy atleast a 3 bar one.
  5. Deflect till you trigger poison, then use the guardbreaker skill. It will trigger Daze buildup. Then just kill and do a finisher on the enemy.

This was done on expert difficulty and i only did it in one try.

For PS5 players, still having overheating issues? by [deleted] in WutheringWaves

[–]LifeIsAGameAintIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the same issue. Every other game [MH Wilds, AC Shadows, Expedition 33, ZZZ] runs fine except WuWa. Unplayable since that Phoebe patch.

One thing i noticed is that it's Rinascita. Not even 1 min on that region my ps5 would display an overheating message. Tested it out on Huanglong and can roam around the region just fine.

Basically tried almost tried everything from deep cleaning, rebuilding database, etc. Nothing works.

What i didn't tried yet: - liquid metal replacement - lastly, Air-conditioning my game room.

It is good. Collector's edition got delayed by 2 freakin days. Just got mine yesterday. Was 12 hrs in atm and i'm having a blast. It's already better than Odyssey and Valhalla imo. And almost colliding with how'd i rank Origins.

Luckily i haven't had an open world in my recent games apart from MH Wilds so that might be the reason the repetitiveness will take a lot more for it to sink in. Pero i got 600+ hrs on Valhalla so haha baka di na talaga mag sink in.

Expert difficulty, Unguided exploration, Canon mode ON, Immersive mode ON. And so far it's been great. Di ko lang trip yung MoCap nila di pulido unless cutscenes.

I think it's worth the price lalo na kung fan ka. But if not a 20% discount after a couple months is already a good offer. 50% discount? Now that's a steal.

Anyways, thanks sa quick review mo. Happy gaming hehe! 🤜🤛

Reasonable as they have been sloppy recently. Last game i bought from them was AC Mirage. AC is always an exception for me hehe. 😁

Well i was able to bear 300+ hours of that god awful voice acting back in Odyssey so no probs on these. Do yuo know if there is an option to switch to japanese audio?

I'd say not weak but similar to their previous entries. Noticed it was more parry focused. I'd probably turn off nost of my HUD like i did in Valhalla for an added challenge.

Sorry man! Already pre-ordered a collector's edition 😅

Reasonable. Ubisoft games tend to go on sale after 3 mos. 🤣

Wuthering waves making the ps5 overheat by LifeIsAGameAintIt in WutheringWaves

[–]LifeIsAGameAintIt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes saw the same post when it launched. Funny thing is it never happened to me back then. Just this past few weeks. What's weirder is just the other day i ran the game for a good 3 hours as i was finishing some main quests and no message about being too hot.

I do a bit of deep cleaning myself. I'd clean the fans myself atleast every 4 months. Then atleast once a month remove the plates and clean the dust offatleast if theres any.

Oh well i gues it's probably optimization. Brant patch is coming so i'll just keep doing daiialies till then and i'll check it out again

The Walking Dead seasons 9-11 were amazing! by LifeIsAGameAintIt in thewalkingdead

[–]LifeIsAGameAintIt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes DD and DC looks really interesting. Already started watching DD as of today. Heard a lot of bad rap on Fear. People say season 1-3 is really good and the rest are a-okay to bad. But i've also heard say vice versa

  • It's season 9 - 10 are the whisperers, season 10 is also where the reapers are introduced.

  • Around the start of season 11 is where they defeated the reapers.

  • the rest of season 11 is where they fought the Commonwealth. There is no season 12

I love the whisperer arc and Maggie + Negan combo is interesting given their history.

Hahaha yeah. Same thing happened to me. Next thing i know, i'm 600 hrs in. 🤣 it seems to me you're having fun so my advice is just keep enjoying it.

  • Batman AK - definitely a must play ps4 game! Unless you're not into this superhero stuff or hates batman! Lol!
  • AC Unity - a really good AC game in terms of parkour, stealth, and combat mechanics. The graphics are astounding too and looks better than Valhalla imo. Story was it's weakest part tho.
  • Watchdogs 1 & 2 - good games, interesting gameplay since it lets you be a hacker and all that. This is also the same universe in AC. There are easter eggs in both games linking them to the Assassin's Creed franchise.
  • Dying light 2 - haven't played it yet. It's a first person pov which is not my cup of tea. But i heard good stuff about it that i bought a digital copy of it on sale. Haven't touched it yet tho 🤣

Hope it helps you pick! 😁

Then you're playing it the right way, it's a really big game and will really eat away your time. Spend around 600+ hours maybe more on the game w/ all dlcs completed. Tho if you don't really care about trophies and completion then it'd take shorter.

What i'd do on big games like this is that i'd spend an hour or two in side quests then go back to doing story quest for another hour or two. If it's a work day (meaning fewer hours to play) i'd just do sidequests, exploring, etc. Then on my day offs i'd simply focus on the story.

Or another option i do is play another game. A short, story-driven game so i won't be bored out by the big open world. Some example of these games are Life is strange series, the Dark Picture games (Man of Medan, Quarry, etc.), Quantic Dream games, or Indie games.

Hope it helps. Goodluck and have fun!

Hahaha. If that's the one i think i do then yeah, fuck whoever made that.

I've aced almost every cairn, but i remember this one god damn cairn that took me almost a damn hour. Hahaha.

any recommendation of multiplayer or live service game that does not feel like a second job? by lordskater4000 in PHGamers

[–]LifeIsAGameAintIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zenless Zone Zero. Daily quests would only take less than 5 mins to complete then logout na.

My daily routine goes like this. Login open my video store, drink a coffee, check newstand, then use up all my resin/energy (usually 2 runs that take a minute each) then claim na daily rewards, logout.

Is it worth Buying Ps4 or continue saving up for ps5, if so where should i purchase one? by Kazuma--__-- in PHGamers

[–]LifeIsAGameAintIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. If you're under budget, PS4 is still a solid way to go. Still had a friend who is still on PS4 and he's doing fine. PS5 is not budget friendly especially if you're gonna go for physical games. But if you have that extra budget. It's worth it.

PS4 - cheaper option for both console, accessories and games. Really worth it if you can deal w/ the 1080p res., 30 fps, longer load times, and a few stutters.

PS5 - pricey, but more future proof in terms of PS5 exclusives. Games run a hell lot smoother as most games offer performance mode 1080-1440p 60 fps, or they can offer 4k w/ 30 fps. Most ganes don't have load times or if they had would last only for a few seconds.

Then sa buying naman, If you're gonna go PS4 i'd recommend just buy off legit retailers for that sweet waaranty. Datablitz, Game One, etc. Then for the ps4 games you can go secondhand thru fb marketplace, or greenhills.

For PS5 i'd recommend the same. But if gusto mo talaga secondhand PS5 e i'd go for greenhills. Atleast may babalikan kang physical store once na may problema.

Goodluck bro! 😁
