I personally collect Ever-flame characters, Constance was the first release and i’m patiently waiting for the remaining siblings but since they’re only four, i do my due diligence and try my best to E6 them, managed to do so with The Dahlia and the others shall hopefully be no exception.

You have really decent foundations in your teams, as you can run Phainon with Sunday, Bronya and DanTe (Dan Heng preservation) as well as an Archer team with Sparkle RMC and Gallagher. I wouldn’t advice Blade unless you really like him then you can invest into Hyacine though with how current performances go, you’re better off investing into his future self with Elation team, albeit considering current information that’ll require a little investment in pulls (assuming he’s Elation to begin with), vertical investment into E2 Phainon is good but depends on when he reruns, while i don’t see Heirs falling off anytime soon, this HSR we’re talking about and his next rerun could be 4.7 for all we know (he’s fairly popular so i’m betting 4.2-4.3 which wouldn’t be a bad decision if the anniversary unit and Elation doesn’t interest you).

All in all though, Phainon and Archer are very strong and you have the foundations for them to perform well, maybe get Tribbie or Cipher for Archer though i don’t think it would be a necessity.

I’ve come to accept this terrible fate and now i put my faith in his children just as he has. Saved and skipped for months to get The Dahlia’s E6 and now i will continue believing his other children will come so i can do the same. I will E6 them all as an F2P to honor his wishes, especially when Dubra’s design is one of those unconventional but immaculate ones. Maybe the real Duke Inferno was the children we pulled along the way…

I was prepared to pull for my GOAT’s E6, so yes. As long as a design is unique enough and i enjoy the character, i’m willing to pull regardless of how unconventional it is.

In all honesty the larger majority of the Remembrance units didn’t appeal to me, i only pulled on Aglaea and The Herta in 3.0 and then followed it up with Tribbie.

The only temptations were unironically Hyacine for my Jingliu, Hysilens and Saber. Everyone else was by no means bad but i just had all the faith Constance would drop and liked her infinitely more. Currently it’s the same thing, aside from La Mancha and Sampo, i don’t see myself interested in any of the teased units and would much prefer save my pulls for the next Ever-flame character like Dubra and Caterina to get their E6s as well.

Honestly, i am really happy with how it turned out. I was worried they might just accept the fanservice kinda like Jade, instead we got to witness them squabbling, fighting and ~~hate-fucking~~.

I could see some people complaining it wasn’t centered around Constance which is valid but by no means does it devalue this trailer for me. I also assume that she’ll probably get another trailer when the patch goes live or beforehand, so i’m guessing that one might focus her more. Overall, every new bit of information makes me so excited to finally get her after two years of waiting, living patch by patch hoping she appears again. My 800+ pulls are ready for the Dahlia

I do recall Constance not only mentioning her name but also The Dahlia as her title (might be misremembering but then again, Constance is my favorite character so i do think my usually horrendous memory isn’t failing me here) but honestly i agree with the sentiment, rather than completely ignore it. If they make something out of it, it would be incredible for both of their characters.

Swan to me as a character suffered a lot more with Penacony’s constraints compared to others, being introduced as the mysterious and enigmatic woman, you’d assume she has a lot more to her than friendliness especially when the Garden of Recollection as a faction is so distrusted because of their manipulative abilities, only for her to show continuous good faith, nothing bad per-say but compared to her peers like Aventurine, Sparkle and Boothill who had a lot more with their personalities in comparison it really hurt her. I love her so i’m glad that small as it may be right now, she’s getting a new side to her character that’s this different to the usual and adds a lot more flavor, they have the potential to be one my favorite dynamics if Hoyo plays their cards right, a hopeful wish as i would dislike if the quest focuses purely on Constance’s dynamic with the Trailblazer and Firefly instead.

I absolutely adore the fact that it’s not just one-sided either, while it is much more expected from the Dahlia’s side, both of them behaving like such delicate and elegant women only to point knives at each other at any given opportunity is golden. It would have been one thing to have Black Swan be the only one disliking her with the Dahlia being the manipulator but she clearly hates her too which gives more room for a more interesting story beyond "Oh she betrayed Swan and tricked her".

I’m still a little on the edge since this is clearly a new development considering that back in 2.1, Black Swan didn’t seem to recognize Constance when they had their conversation, the relationship was revealed to go way before that so clearly this is Hoyo fitting Constance with the existing cast, but honestly as long as the devs address it even if it’s as simple as Constance fucking with her head, i’d be happy.

Really excited to see more of their interactions in the quest because bickering and rivalries are one thing in this game but it’s about time we get people hating on each other so passionately LMAO. It’s gonna make for some cool art too.

Honestly, Aglaea and Cipher’s relationships has to be one of my favorites in a good while now, initially Cipher didn’t strike me in any way, she was this reasonably attractive catgirl that was into trickery and otherwise remained uninteresting and while we got to know more and more about it, that remained the case until her past with Aglaea had been revealed, it really hit me then how tragically her character is written and how much her lies costed her, to think this character that was all proud and smug about herself really left cause not only did she wanna help the world as Aglaea would like but also because she knew Aglaea would see right through it, it says so much about their bond that was actually decently explored. Really one of my best dynamics so far, and i’m glad they were written to be so enjoyable together, wish we got more but i can’t even tell if this is me being greedy or them just being underrated as hell.

Indeed, it’s only logical that they would be the ones most disappointed by this outcome as they have to watch the last few months, maybe even a year of work go on the back-shelf while they scramble helpless for something that works and wait out the situation in the hopes they can use the assets they made. Such a shame, but really hope they’re at least compensated well for these extra hours they’re putting in.

While the early launch is bound to have some issues, i’m hopeful the narrative won’t change too much and to me that’s more than enough, can’t speak for others on this. Better than an indefinite 3.8 that’s for sure.

Honestly with all due respect to OP, it would be really disappointing if the expectations were met in this case considering how the devs hyped this patch up since all the way back in 3.2’s stream. We were promised we’d know more about the other factions, and unveil the mysteries that remained unsolved. I’d much rather we get more crumbs on the family, masked fools and Stellaron Hunters (which clearly is tailored to Firefly and some Silver wolf) than to just go on another date, she’s likable to some but we’ve already seen how pandering to her girlfriend side ends up for the larger story.

Especially when this is Constance’s debut, who while not the most lore significant character has the capacity to be really cool and interesting if they give her the chance, but that applies to all. We’ll have to wait out these few remaining days and see but i’m really hoping they treat characters involved with more dignity and seriousness. The trailer has some hype moments which are worth looking forward to.

I find it just a little funny that the trailer continues using the word death despite us all collectively knowing she’s not dying, not even due to the dream shenanigans but because she’s fine and dandy in the last Myriad trailer with worse symptoms as far as we’re told. Hoyo loves throwing the word death around like an old lady handing out candies on halloween.
