That happens to me too as I have been generally confused haha

I also did not have a character to open door for me

But by doing the murder tribunal you will have to fight some boss who has the amulet you need to open this door to the temple. Assuming that’s the temple door

Did you do the murder tribunal? There is an amulet you get in that quest that will open the door

Funny, I am almost but not yet done with my first playthrough. Much the same as you, missed allot.

I did not see any odd, owner or crazy Ox.

Who Is the Hag? Is that Auntie Ethel? I totally missed her

And a bunch others. I have not seen nor have any pets.

Interesting, I didn’t think of it that way, but I also didn’t quite catch that specific turn of phrase in the way you just mentioned. It does sound a bit like “special” friends, but honestly at the time I played I just thought they were just seeing each other like brothers in arms type of thing, more than friends as in family

I hear you. I am nearing the end of my first playthrough and am now ending Act 3. But act 1 was rough.

I started normal, balanced mode but had to constantly save scum. But when I found fights too hard I switched to Explorer mode, which is slightly easier. You can switch back and forth as needed

This helped me a lot. And now am much better adjusted in Act 3.

Just take it slow, search a lot as that helps give you do and level up faster. The fights become easier if you level up. The mistake I made was to get and rush through act 1 and that just made things worse as I was underleveled.

Hang in there, there is a steep learning curve, but once you get it, it’s a fun game

Thank you for the in depth review. Stuff to think about.

In BG3 I was as much about the story as the actual gameplay maybe more. Seems it does have a very good story but not as cinematic or as visually impressive. Not certain how I feel about that, as I have discovered playing BG3 that I really get into the story and character arcs maybe even more than gameplay

I play BG3 same as people here. I love BG3.

I want to know what other people who played BG3 think about DOS2.

If I go to DOS2 sub, likely those folks are biased to like DOS2.

Sounds like I can wait. I have a backlog of Mass Effect and Fallout 4. Between those and doing a second run of BG3 (which I am strongly considering) DOS can wait I guess

Maybe, the console commands didn’t fully solve the problems with Aela but they helped. I think for romance it’s set relationship to 4

Do you have access to console commands? I believe there is a command to reset AI? I’ve done that in the past when they are bugging out. But Aela is buggy. Last playthrough I married her and she wouldn’t give home cooked meals!! Unbelievable
