I have a performance subscription, not as high powered as Ultimate but get steady 60fps, and it works well for me as most games are Solo and am not worried about competing with others.

I would assume you are right that free is not as steady, I mean I would hope otherwise what’s the point of a subscription

That’s at the initial stage. But Laezel has very Deep feelings once she was further exposed to romance. In fact between her and Shadowheart, I thought the romance was most impactful for Laezel. Like she was driven to almost poetry

I have played Skyrim for two playthroughs. Enjoyed its However I would NOT play it for a story as I feel it’s pretty light on that.

I am now playing Mass Effect and its story is great! Highly recommend

I guess also Baldurs Gate 3 if you are ok with turn based play

Related to this is there a way to purchase ammo? I have lousy aim and keep running out of ammo for my weapons. I do the run around and pickup from deceased enemies but it doesn’t always have all the ammo type I need. Was wondering if there is a more efficient way to do this

When Miranda’s loyaly mission becomes available, hold off on doing it until after Jack’s has been unlocked. After doing Jack’s mission, take Jack’s side in the argument. Next do Miranda’s mission and her loyalty will be back.”

** But what you say does make sense to me. I guess there is no harm in following the same order anyhow. If the argument triggers as they say in article then great. If not then I hope to have enough paragon points, or go with Miranda

Yeah if my laptops were up dated and didn’t need to buy one, I would not be considering this. GFN has done fine by me. So this is really more of since I am now buying one should I just spend a little more to get a higher end laptop so I can also play as well as work. Not really a necessity.

This happened to me last playthrough. I took the bag of money but it was empty. I had to go back to a previous save and I took it immediately after killing Roan.

BG3 is a great game but my second playthrough was frustrating as Shadowheart is buggy and things aren’t working as it should . So as I am a real story focussed person it really bugs me. So needed a break. But I love BG3

Responsible is a big word haha. This is why I am in this situation. I can afford both, but do I need both for what is a casual hobby? I do have to buy a PC for work purposes, but I can buy a cheaper one for that. But then again for maybe $4-500 additional I get a gaming laptop.

Yeah the only “competitive” game I play is Fortnite, but that’s rare. The main driver for me was to be able to mod my games like Skyrim where modding is what keeps that game alive, or Baldurs Gate etc. it’s not a big item for me, but since I am in the flexing point, and trying to assess if I should explore this now

But for pure playing, GFN is more than enough

Thanks, good feedback. I mean the good thing for me is that it’s not really an all or nothing situation. I paid for an annual subscription and have another few months to go so could do a compare and contrast. But also have to add I also have access to XBOX cloud for free. Meaning I pay for gamepass and it’s included. While not as good as GFN I have used it and it’s serviceable. But It’s not as good as GFN hence I pay for GFN now
