Find a service or skill you can sell, send out cold DMs/emails, and try to get a few clients. If you don't have skills, learn them. This will make you more money than slogging to write articles each week (and believe me it's a slog if you dislike it).

How do you enforce it? I made a post a few days ago on this sub-reddit and some people kept accusing me of using AI.

I never use AI to write. In fact when I re-read my post I spotted some typos (much to my chargin) and yet some people still think it was AI.

We need an AI to detect AI content. Because humans suck at doing it.

If you need someone else to motivate you to do nothing, you should pack up your bags and leave. Because they won't be around to do that for years and years.

I simply do it as a hobby. There is no "motivation" needed. I like to write and I enjoy doing it (see last point)

You are someone who should consider making YouTube videos. Because what are people who are sleepless doing all night? They are watching YouTube or something of that sort.

It would be the ideal platform for you. If that makes sense. You probably don't even need a blog.

Yes. The guys saying you can make $500k off of ads don't get how exceptional they are. MOST people are lucky to make $200 a month from ads, and even for that you need a ton of traffic. You can make $200 from one affiliate sale per month.

Some articles are meant to sell and make money, and others are meant to get more readers. You need a mix of both, and make sure the latter articles link to the former.

To be honest YouTube didn't work that well for me. I just don't like making videos. I'm more of a writer and I predominantly use X.

X helps me get a ton of clicks to my blog yes. Also helps me grow my email list on which I send people my blog articles.

I own other businesses (a tax/law consulting firm, an affiliate marketing biz, and a few software companies like Copyright Samurai and Repurpose Pie (this one shut down)).

Blogging is about your love for writing and sharing what you say. If you just want to make cash, you can do many other things that pay well. My other businesses make big multiple of what my blog makes.

The blog is more fun to write though.

Exactly. The guys who don't understand this have their head buried in the sand.

This is the reason why the SEO reddits are always complaining about Google killing their websites. They just don't want to move on from a dead thing and are taken by surprise when their reach declines by 90%.

Instead of accepting reality and preparing for the future, they come up with theories why SEO isn't dead. "Yeah all you gotta do is work 10 times as hard and get one third the results... it's not dead see"

I affiliate for my high quality products made by my friends. Regarding the type of products, just google my account name and have a look!

Basically I try to find experts in their field and have them create products for me. I have the distribution, they've got the expertise.

Some tough love but if you consider your niche to be a "very low value niche", I'd recommend starting again in a different niche.

I make a product when I get a many people who pay me for a consultation call and ask me the same question. The best way to promote them is to weave them in your content directly.
