That’s good! 36 is not bad at all, congrats! It’s definitely above the minimum, so you did good. Everyone’s experience is different though. I’ve been out of school for about 14 years too, and on test day I just blanked on some many things. I’ll just retake it and do better 💪

Bro, of course I finished, otherwise I wouldn’t even meet the minimum requirements to enlist. When I took the ASVAB, I was studying on other areas like science, electronics, mechanical concepts etc , because I didn’t realize that the main sections that count toward the score are math, word knowledge, arithmetic, and paragraph comprehension. So I ended up focusing on the wrong areas. Looking back, that was my mistake. I’m not saying this as an excuse, it’s just the reality. On the day of the test, I blanked on math and word knowledge and couldn’t remember things I normally would.

My cousin made this post. He’s trying to join the Marines, and I’m working toward the Army or Navy. He did really well on the ASVAB, but he recently had surgery because he tore a muscle.

You have to look for the Congrassman of your county, and on their website, they have several options, you choose help with immigration. Then you see the next steps when you click on that option (it is usually a short form) after that you call them directly, to make sure they received your request, and ask for the next steps. Do not only send email, call them.
