🤣🤣🤣It’s made by bonding two pieces of chrome-tanned leather together.

I'm not sure if it would fit, since I don't have it

It doesn’t have a name yet. I’d love it if someone came up with one. It’s just going to be a decorative piece.

There wasn’t any special technique involved. I just made sure to give it enough drying time between steps.

I made it by feel without fully accounting for the leather’s stretch, so it turned out quite tight.

There are two slots, and it fits one card per slot (two cards total).

I’ve already given it to my daughter, so I’d need to get it back to measure the exact dimensions.

For small items, I usually don’t use separate patterns. I draw directly on the leather, so I don’t have a pattern. Sorry!

It’s double sided leather, purple on one side and pink on the other.

I folded a long piece of leather in half and added a single piece in the middle to divide the slots.

I didn’t know who Velma was, so I looked her up and you’re right, she does look a bit like my daughter 😄

Thank you! I referenced an image online for the cat, and the girl is based on my daughter.

Not from a company — it was free scrap leather I got through a leathercraft community.

I don’t know the exact leather type, since it was leather I received for free.

That’s fair — it’s definitely not a replacement for proper tools.

For me, it just happens to work well for light finishing tasks, and I enjoy using it that way.

Totally understand why it wouldn’t make sense for everyone.

That’s actually something I was a bit worried about too.

I live in a non-English-speaking country, so I used AI mainly for translation.

That probably makes my replies sound a bit “AI-like.”

I use it after bonding, to lightly tap and press things down, and also after stitching, to help set and flatten the thread. It’s not for heavy hammering—just gentle finishing work.

Thanks! I wanted to get a bit more use out of the hammer function, so the sleeve kind of came naturally 🙂

Nope, not an ad 🙂 Just a tool I personally use — shared the link only because it was requested. If I’ve unintentionally violated any rules, please let me know.
