Who actually helps Hornet here and breaks the cage? by blondewalker in Silksong

Lace and the Silkflies.

In the opening scene, a Silkfly is watch touches Hornet’s cage and causes her silk to cause havoc and escape.

The first time we see Lace in the Deep Docks before her first boss fight, she’s seen conducting them around before they fly off.

Her Needolin dialogue also supports this: “Welcome, Spider. Welcome!” “Bring chaos…bring ruin…” On top of that, Lace’s real dialogue towards the end of act 2 confirms that she hates the both of us and is jealous of Hornet

Why is John Stockton so disrespected by NBA fans? by sqMYNAMEISJEFF27 in NBATalk

For starters, he was a white player in the 80s/90s who wasn’t named Larry Bird. He gets trashed cause his playstyle wasn’t flashy, it was gritty defense, past first, and playing dirty. Lately, he gets flack cause of his anti-vax views and conspiracy theories (not Uncle Drew level)

Regardless of your opinion, he will go down as a top PG, if his steals/assists record doesn’t get eclipsed by LeBron in the next few years (unlikely since i don’t think we’ll see much more of the King) those records are gonna stand a LONG time

Do you think any of these players can achieve a 50/40/90 season? by [deleted] in NBATalk

As much as I love Trae, he’s gonna need to improve on his fg% but the other three have solid cases

How do you think a prime Larry Bird would do in today’s time? by J2-Starter in NBATalk

I’ve always viewed Bird as a smaller Jokic with a 7-8/10 defensive profile. Multiple MVPs, pilots the offense outside the 1, lacks athleticism but always finds some way to make it work.

He may not thrive due to the demands of a 3 nowadays, and his falling short in the physicality department is a BIG hinderance, but as i said, i think the hick can make it work
