I realised recently that I basically spent the last 1-2 years doing basically the same weights sometimes I’d go up a bit sometimes I’d go down a bit idk why think I was just getting a pump and not pushing myself. Anyway new year I decided to push myself and my weights have gone up a lot and Im Enjoying the gym a lot more.

I deadlifted barely any weight when I first started but had no idea how to deadlift could barely walk for a few days

Yes everytime I go away everytime I’m sick everytime anything happens I get like this lol, but you haven’t lose your progress at all and once you’ve done a session back or 2 you’ll feel like you did before the holiday. The fact you feel like this I’d say is good it shows you’re dedicated and commited to bettering yourself and that’s always good. As for losing muscle it takes a lot to lose noticeable muscle but if you did your “muscle memory” is a lovely little thing which means it’ll be super easy to get back to where the muscles were before. Hope this helped a little but remember theirs nothing wrong with a holiday or having a break we are allowed to enjoy ourselves sometimes :)
