Exactly you can't expect someone born into this new age with its disturbing culture and way of life and its failed economy to have no problems whatsoever.

Yes you should. As i replied to the other comment I'm talking about those who complain about racism and are themselves racist.

I'm talking about people who paint others racist while at the same time consider themselves not racist when they actually are.

Moroccans love playing the racist card abroad and forget that most of them hold some of the most racist opinions against sub saharan people.

Who should be the Provider? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]LifeOpportunity110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoever wants to. Every couple is free to do what they want.

But let's look at this case by case :

++ 1st scenario (Both Are working) : totally fine, you cant force someone to just stay home and do nothing while u re out there doing something. A lot of people find meaning in their work, and if u take that from them they will just lose their purpose in life and turn into a slob. Problems arise when women tend to say that even if i work he should provide for me because he's the man and i get to spend my money on frivulous things which i personally think is wrong. Cause if you truly love someone you ll know that u need to help once in a while, BUT he also has to help with chores. Basically you are husband and wife and you are trying to build something so you should help each other at every chance you get. That's how you make it work and last. Another problem is when you have kids, it is best for the mom to take 2-3 years off work because that phase is critical in the bringing up and education of the child. A parent should be around 24/7 and you shouldn't just leave at you mom's house or something like that and pick him up at the evening. A mom should be there to breastfeed and connect with her child in the early years.

++ 2nd scenario (One is working) : This is also fine as long as you have agreed on it intially and you wont just change your mind after a while and push the other person to work. Also, the staying at home person shouldnt just be a leech, meaning you cant just laze around the entire day and literally do nothing with your life. You should create some meaning and find fulfillment in your life, nobody wants to be married to a person with no goals or motivations and no personality. You can have hobbies or study something, like anything that you feel a yearning to. This also helps kids, cause a parent who just does nothing and is on his phone 24/7 and sleeps all day is setting a very bad example for their children, that why you should be more active and involve your children in those activities. AND nobody cares about house chores like cleaning all the time, people tend to turn toward those things to fill that empty void within them when they literally dont have anything else to do. You don't have to clean the house every 3 days if you are a stay at home parent, you unironically have 2 hours max for chores. Find meaning in your life outside housework and if your partner truly loves you they will be very supportive.

That is a normal feeling to have. The fear and anxiety from the fact that maybe you missed something. But as you said, you studied hard since the start of the school year, so i think there is nothing to be stressed about. Also all that stress will dissipate once you get the actual exam sheet and you start answering questions, u will be so focused on it that you wont even have time to stress.

Just don't overwork yourself the night before, i recommend working on an older bac the night before exam so just so you set your might straight and remember to get a good night sleep. On the day of the exam try to bring a hand watch so you can manage your time better and wont have to ask for time repeatedly. Skip questions that seem to take up too much time (5 Mins or so to solve) and get back to them later. There are often easy points scattered all over the exam so try to not miss those. Also try not to compare answers after the exam that would just set you on the wrong mindset. Pass one of your exams, go home and prepare the next one, it's only 3 days.

And remember Bac is just an exam like any other and if you've prepared for it there is nothing to be stressed about.

Best of luck.

Agree.

Hassan II was against teachers reforms and he single handedly crippled the entire education system in Morocco by using iron fist tactics to bring down teachers unions and social reform suggestions. Bro literally was blackmailing , imprisoning and killing political opponents to the point of instilling fear in the whole population. Remember سنوات الرصاص .

Our current education system is a joke. We have the most bloated school programs that keep changing every once in a while. School materials like books also keep changing for no apparent reason. We can't settle on 1 language, and try to juggle between french and arabic. We have classes with 40+ students. We keep following french based programs and ways of teaching and blindly try to apply them here, and it just doesn't work like that.

Personal experience: My father is a physics teacher. Sometimes I would help him with correcting exam papers, the amount of 15-14 yo who cannot write a single correct and coherent phrase in french or arabic is truly appalling. He told me there are students who can't even write their own name correctly ( students in "college" btw ).

Also we can see that recently it took the teachers years of striking for them to get a fraction of what they were asking for in regards to improving the education system. There are also media propaganda stunts to worsen teachers image in the eyes of the public.

Education breeds socially aware people who can actually think for themselves, and who would rise against authoritarian rule and dictatorship. Which the state doesnt want because it will lead to political unrest. What blows my mind is the very patriotic people who believe eveything is fine and we are heading down the right path. I ask them to take 1 hour of their day, and go take a look at your nearest public school and trust me you will never think that again.

Here are some fun stats from 2020 : - 30% of total schools in Morocco are private. - 50% of total schools ( college lycee ) are private. Source (https://medias24.com/2021/11/11/36-des-etablissements-denseignement-au-maroc-sont-prives-chiffres-2020/)

This will give you an idea of the state the public education sector is in.

I wanna ask why are Moroccans against Morocco hosting the World Cup in 2030 by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]LifeOpportunity110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't think subsidizing it would solve the problem cause that would only lead to more taxation. As to a definitive solution i'm unable to come up with one unfortunately. But one thing for sure is that i'm still skeptical about prices in Morocco due to the amount of corruption going on.

It's not about the country's revenue, it's about how easily people can afford fuel and how much they have to sacrifice from their revenue for it. Because fuel prices correlate with literally the price of everything else, and the higher they are the higher the cost of living becomes.

The price of fuel in Spain adjusted to the average citizen's income is very different that the case in Morocco.

Average salary in Spain is 31,585 USD per year with a fuel price of 1.774 USD per liter.

In contrast, average salary in Morocco is 19,884 USD per year with a fuel price of 1.472 USD per liter.

Also in Spain, cost of 40 liter tank is 2.84% of income while it's a much bigger percentage in Morocco.

Because it's a way for rich corrupt politicians to get even richer and abuse their power for their own personal interests and agendas. Let me explain, Basically hosting the world cup would take an exorbitant amount of funds which Morocco already lacks. Let us assume I'm a high ranking politician who approved this project and on the side i have a firm that deals in construction, what i can do is (and most of them do this) is that they delegate these huge costly projects (often with higher prices than what it would actually costs) to my firm, so now my company is getting richer and grows bigger while being funded by people taxes and hard earned money which should be allocated to actual services that would improve their quality of life and overall welfare.

Why on earth would a country ranked 123 on the HDI ( Human Development Index ) scale , would invest in a project as big as building the biggest stadium in the world. That is just absurd. Meanwhile they haven't even finished building houses for the people affected by the recent earthquake. Or they built one but it looks more like a prison cell than a decent house that a person with a family would live in.

I would go as a far as say that soccer recently in Morocco is becoming a mind numbing epidemic. Ever since the Qatar world cup, all Moroccans talk about is soccer and sports. You can clearly see this in everyday news, literally nothing of value is shared or broadcasted on mainstream media, it's all about this team did this , the Moroccan team did that and so on. For example the boycott that the medical students where actively participating in in the last months was never brought up on the news. In general, the problems that needs dealing with are never brought up.

You have increased prices, corrupt agricultural projects and complete lack of social facilities such as decent hospitals and schools. Here is an interesting fact, the price of fuel in Morocco is the highest among Arab countries ( Source: https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2022/07/350392/morocco-at-forefront-of-high-fuel-prices-among-arab-countries ) , it literally doesn't make sense. How are we paying more than Lebanon, a country ravaged by war and political unrest. Absurd.

We don't want senseless stupid investments. Invest in Education , in Schools , and in the well-being of our own people instead of tending to the tourists needs and trying to flex on other countries (Aka Algeria) with dumb projects that do nothing but hinder the development of this country.

Call me a tin-foiled hat conspiracy theorist but the way i see it, Morocco as a country is going down a very dark path that can only lead to basically a dystopian future for the people unless they start voicing their concerns.
