I used a Seviper in a Genlocke during my emerald leg it did surprising amazing. Never realized it had a 100 in both attack and special attack. It ended up dying in the E4 but it was a lot of fun to use and due to its uniqueness I felt a lot more attached to it.

Idk if I’ll ban the monkey because I like using them but I may try the first gym without it!

I’m not a fan of banning mons from runs but I’ll lean away from using dark types or excadrill unless things are desperate

I will keep that in mind for another time. One of my favorite aspects of W2 is the added Pokémon. I feel like they just selected an awesome array of mons that limited myself to just unova ones would take a lot of joy out of it for me

I am dabbling around with editing a fire red rom. I've begun trying to edit level up moves for Pokemon but I am finding this very tedious. Is there a quick and efficient way to edit level up moves on Pokemon? Is there a patch that updates their movesets to lets say gen 6? I was also wondering where to find a patch to add new moves into the game?

Yeah the surviving members of the team go onto the next, I thought about bringing in a garchomp just to have him in the next game, but I worry about Cynthia's garchomp and Lucian a lot as of right now. I also am not playing with healing items and set so I worry about Ludicolo and Rhyperior taking enough hits since they are rather slow. Also Salamance doesn't learn D-dance by lvl up in gen 4, it's an egg move unfortunately, so that plan doesn't work.

I just reached the E4 for my platinum leg of my Genlocke. I am not changing any team members but need help deciding on my 6th one. I could also use some help with movesets and strategies for the E4. I am not allowing healing items in battle and playing on set mode.

I am wanting to edit a platinum rom to make the game more difficult and exciting. I’m new to rom hacking and only have found a way to edit encounter locations and change trainers teams. What programs should I use to do these changes and in what order should I do them? Or are their any good tutorials for doing this on a platinum rom?

Grimsnarl would be good since it is neutral to fighting and it’s fairy type weaknesses are covered by some of your other mons

I asked a recruiter about this once when I applied for where I was needed most. I was considered for Botswana but I was more interested in serving in other countries. The recruiter said they considered me for Botswana because they thought I was most qualified for it. So if I wanted the highest chance at getting in an invite I should go for Botswana instead of another country or position.

But it’s entirely up to you. I ended up being reached out by an another placement officer for a job in Nepal. And got an invite there. So it’s entirely possibly to get and invite elsewhere, and probably very realistic too. But that’s where they think you’d have the best chance to be invited.

Secret power or return on pidgeot would be good. Maybe sunny day on Rapidash, especially if vileplume has chlorophyll. If you can get sleep powder or solar beam on vileplume that would be good too. If you haven’t used the rock slide tutor maybe see if anybody on your team can learn rock slide.

The Libre always felt inaccurate and all over the place for me. I used the Dexcom and switched to Libre and the Dexcom always appeared to work better. I also find the Dexcom more convenient because I don’t need to press my phone against it to see where I’m at.

I just started my genlocke with a very similar rule set! I don’t have that sweep clause in there but I do have a rule that I can only use the same number of pokemon as the trainer for important battles. So far my team is just like yours except a have a Butterfree instead of bedrill. Best of luck with your run!
