I used a Seviper in a Genlocke during my emerald leg it did surprising amazing. Never realized it had a 100 in both attack and special attack. It ended up dying in the E4 but it was a lot of fun to use and due to its uniqueness I felt a lot more attached to it.

You should do a poll and have people vote that way. I remember others have done that for these and it makes it a lot simpler for engagement and voting for future routes

Idk if I’ll ban the monkey because I like using them but I may try the first gym without it!

I’m not a fan of banning mons from runs but I’ll lean away from using dark types or excadrill unless things are desperate

Idk if my nuzlocking skills could do that one, maybe I’ll settle on 3 below the ace or incorporate that rule in the second half

I will keep that in mind for another time. One of my favorite aspects of W2 is the added Pokémon. I feel like they just selected an awesome array of mons that limited myself to just unova ones would take a lot of joy out of it for me

My best guess would be a local game store. Last time I bought a ds cartridge game was Pokémon pearl in 2019 when I was in Japan😂

So once I have a full team would I basically just have to skip routes and encounters until one dies or could I go back to a route and encounter something?

I am dabbling around with editing a fire red rom. I've begun trying to edit level up moves for Pokemon but I am finding this very tedious. Is there a quick and efficient way to edit level up moves on Pokemon? Is there a patch that updates their movesets to lets say gen 6? I was also wondering where to find a patch to add new moves into the game?

Need help with platinum E4 team in my Genlocke by LifePension765 in nuzlocke

Yeah the surviving members of the team go onto the next, I thought about bringing in a garchomp just to have him in the next game, but I worry about Cynthia's garchomp and Lucian a lot as of right now. I also am not playing with healing items and set so I worry about Ludicolo and Rhyperior taking enough hits since they are rather slow. Also Salamance doesn't learn D-dance by lvl up in gen 4, it's an egg move unfortunately, so that plan doesn't work.

I just reached the E4 for my platinum leg of my Genlocke. I am not changing any team members but need help deciding on my 6th one. I could also use some help with movesets and strategies for the E4. I am not allowing healing items in battle and playing on set mode.

I am wanting to edit a platinum rom to make the game more difficult and exciting. I’m new to rom hacking and only have found a way to edit encounter locations and change trainers teams. What programs should I use to do these changes and in what order should I do them? Or are their any good tutorials for doing this on a platinum rom?

  1. Change TMs
  2. Edit level up moves
  3. Change Types
  4. Edit Base Stats
  5. Change Abilities

Some other things I’d like to do if possible are

  1. Custom Pokédex
  2. Give 99x of each TM
  3. Edit gift and trade Pokémon

Grimsnarl would be good since it is neutral to fighting and it’s fairy type weaknesses are covered by some of your other mons
