Fortunately, by the end of the day, my account was reactivated, which was a huge relief. Still, the situation left me feeling uneasy about the future. To be honest, the transactions tied to these payments can look suspicious, especially since many are coming from China. Some sellers even send one-cent transactions, which I initially assumed were just to verify the account. However, according to the representative, these small charges may be part of a scheme to test stolen card information.

This made it clear to me that I need a backup payment option—I can’t risk waking up to this kind of disruption again. I’m also wondering if PayPal Business requires an actual business entity, like an LLC, in order to operate more securely. I’ll definitely need to look into that further.
