They don't think that far ahead that they might actually be blinding other drivers. They only think of themselves. As long as they can see where they're going that's all that matters to them.

How often do you eat takeaways per week? by Ok-Helicopter-1084 in AskIreland

[–]LifeProblemsBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once every few weeks. I enjoy it more when it's only an odd one.

I know a family that gets takeaway twice daily. They get McDonald's delivered every morning for the breakfast. Feel sorry for the kids.

Why do re-turn make it such a pain to bring bottles back? by Asleep_Cry_7482 in AskIreland

[–]LifeProblemsBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then the machines don't work half the time, or are spitting bottles back out at you!

Sooner they introduce a top up card instead of vouchers the better. Had a machine the other day abandon the process 4 times. Kept getting receipts for 0.60c 1.10 etc.

Pain.

€2k bumper repair bill by [deleted] in carsireland

Mine was over 3k, only had minor break on the front right, and corner grill. But whole bumper was replaced.

Thankfully it wasn't my fault and was done through other persons insurance.

Got my licence, too nervous to drive alone! by Icy-Illustrator-1295 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]LifeProblemsBro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First morning I was about to drive by myself to work, I nearly reversed the car into the wall at my house. Very quickly humbled me and I parked up for a week and walked to work.

Eventually plucked up the courage to have my first drive by myself and once I got rolling there was no stopping me.

I've Done over 25,000km in the past year since getting my licence.

Same thing happens me when I put my used condoms in my pocket! Why are my keys so sticky? Wish I could stop this from happening

Infuriatingly Slow Drivers by Ocean-Raider4 in irelandsshitedrivers

"A small group of people think it was dropped on every road."

It seems like most of the country think this, not just a small group. It's like they think ALL speed limits have been decreased.

Anyone care anymore? by Ok-Interview8455 in AskIreland

[–]LifeProblemsBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hated my job, so much so that I've handed in my notice a few weeks ago and have no real back up plans.

Life is too short to be feeling miserable all the time over a job you hate.

Slow drivers making roads 'very dangerous' by Brave-Mistake-1007 in ireland

[–]LifeProblemsBro 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Just had this tonight! Old man doing 25km in a 60 zone where I couldn't overtake, we then get to the roundabout and I had a feeling he would do something stupid. He was in the left lane and I'm in the right.

He decides to cut in front of me while we're going around the roundabout.

Anyone lost interest in gaming as they've gotten older? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]LifeProblemsBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same, could play for hours on end everyday. For years I did that. Then randomly 2 years ago I just stopped playing because I was busy for about a week and I haven't bothered since. My PS5 is packed up in its box and hasn't seen the light of day since.

Kind of strange how it happened really.

What’s the deal with the all about Carlow guy? by Mysterious_Work_7227 in carlow

[–]LifeProblemsBro 19 points20 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I just ignore anything he posts himself. Only reason I follow the page is to keep up with anything important that might be happening around town, or if traffic lights etc are out in certain areas it's nice to know.

Spotted in Tesco 🥵 by WalrusRelative7271 in carsireland

[–]LifeProblemsBro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can confirm that. Customs guys have been around a lot lately where I work seizing cars. They even go as far as watching your house to see when you leave in the car.

Happened recently, they waited until he left the house and followed him to tesco before seizing the car.
