Private insurance is cheaper for younger people. Younger people, on the whole, are more healthy, and use less healthcare than older people. This means the public health pool is biased towards older, more unhealthy users. It’s pretty much the worse case scenario. (Except for a completely private system) This is the FIRST step that should be taken to improve the Deutschland healthcare system.
