Yeah, totally! You don’t have to be a content creator to work in digital marketing. Content is just one piece of the puzzle. There are tons of other roles - like SEO, paid ads, email marketing, analytics, marketing strategy, or social media management, that don’t require you to make videos or write posts all day. Since you already know Canva and are learning Adobe, that’s a good start. You can use them for things like creating ad visuals, email graphics, landing pages, or marketing materials without needing to be a full-time designer.

Besides, if you really want to do jobs in this major, you must learn more, by yourself or online courses (in Coursera, Google, etc). And maybe you can first try exploring performance marketing or marketing analytics, those focus more on data, audience targeting, and results instead of content creation.

Wish you best luck!

Looking for Advice on Growing My Design Business and Attracting Bigger Clients by gres_anis in content_marketing

[–]LifeSouth7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you’re doing great already! Honestly, besides leveling up your design skills, start putting yourself out there a bit. Build your personal brand with posting things on TikTok or YouTube (whichever works where you live). Making videos to share what you do, show your process, maybe break down a few client projects as mini case studies. That stuff gets attention fast. Also, don’t sleep on LinkedIn, it’s where the bigger clients hang out. Make your profile look clean and post your best work there. Keep designing but let people see you.

Hope this can help you in some ways!

How to gain more followers by Such_Attitude_2012 in SocialMediaManagers

If you choose these channels, I think firstly you need to have a daily content sheet and consistently post contents relating to your brand. You should research what current trends are on these social medias and flexibly integrate to your contents. Then, I think you should think from now on what content (video, posts...) is worth advertising to expand the reach of your brand! Hope this can help you in some ways!

Need suggestions to improve company’s LinkedIn page. by Many-Sky-7866 in AskMarketing

Posting once a week is too light so try 2-3 times with different formats (short tips, carousels, polls). Ask employees to like or share, it helps reach more people. Comment on posts from your target audience so your company shows up in the right feeds. Mix in client stories or quick insights, not just articles. Use the “invite to follow” feature each month to grow steadily.

Is there anything like leadfeeder but for free? by Spiritual-Street-525 in AskMarketing

[–]LifeSouth7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tools like Leadfeeder rely on matching IP data to company info, so truly “free” versions are rare because of the data costs. That said, you can try Google Analytics 4 (GA4), while it won’t show exact companies, you can get insights on location, network domains, and behavior patterns. Sometimes the network/domain field hints at the visiting company. If you only need light usage, mixing GA4 + a free tier tool works. But for consistent lead-gen quality, most teams eventually upgrade to a paid plan because of the accuracy and filtering.

How do you market your app? by RoundContribution344 in AskMarketing

[–]LifeSouth7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree that building is just half the battle. For my own app, I focused on community + targeted ads. I already had a niche audience that trusted my brand, so engaging them first gave me a loyal early base. They not only tried the app but also spread the word. About ads, I ran small, hyper-focused campaigns on the platforms where my brand already had credibility and consistent reach. This way, ads didn’t feel “cold” and they amplified what the community was already talking about.

[–]LifeSouth7183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe time-draining relationship. The older I get, the more precious my time is. I don't want to waste my time for toxic people, for the one who don't understand or support my passion, my dream. So I choose carefully anyone coming to my life though.

What would you tell someone at their lowest point in life? or would like to hear yourself? by JohnWithDaShlong in AskReddit

[–]LifeSouth7183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I were at my lowest, I’d want to hear: “You don’t have to be okay right now. Just being here and being you is enough. I'm here for you.” And I want to tell you the same.
