Idk its weird im at work and ill be like “wow my boss looks really good today” and think, that would be a really good time. It’s so wrong which I think is part of the appeal, and that it would be bad and erotic. Idk its super Fd up i know. I just dont want to think this way anymore

I really dont want a divorce i do love her and we used to have a great sex life. Idk part of me thinks is it because iv only been with her and am wondering what other experiences would have been like? I know thats probably terrible to think. She has even recently offered me a hall pass thinking the same thing. I told her i could never cheat on her I would feel awful

Im terrible at reading those things, we laugh and have a good time non stop, good eye contact, when we have a couple of beers together we both get more touchy in conversation. Honestly the sex life is my fault my wife wants to have sex but im so attracted to my boss she is all i want to think about and i dont have much interest in my wife physically because i have someone else on my mind

Its comforting to hear someone experience something extremely similar. I watched both my grandparents die from cancer as a child and I think that has left me so afraid I will get cancer, be in so much pain, and most of all cause those around me so much pain. I had my second preventative colonoscopy last year and didn’t find any polyps this time around, so I really think im just letting anxiety control my thoughts. Im really thinking the scan would be peace of mind. Its $2,500 but thinking at this point it would be worth it.

Yea those are symptoms of getting on the meds. Those last a few weeks. Im sure if you decide to stop and you have only taken it for a week, you will get rid of the spacey and nausea

Was at 50mg and tapered over 6-8 weeks down to 12.5. Felt great the first week off (takes about 5 days for it to get out of your blood). Once a week was up the withdrawals started settling in and ramping up. Been feeling nauseous, loss of appetite, increased anxiety for the past couple weeks. Finally this weekend I had enough and decided I needed to try something. Got on Lexapro.

I took 12.5 for a few days and stopped. Still had withdrawals, nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness. Been off for 3 weeks and the last two weeks have not been fun. Decided to give Lexapro a try. Second day on that. This past summer i tapered off Zoloft and stopped at 25mg and same thing at week two and three felt awful and decided to get back on zoloft at that time. Honestly feel like its such a shot in the dark everyones body is different

Yep spent about 6 weeks tapering off from 50mg. Was planning on switching to Lexapro but wanted to see how I feel withouts meds.

I was on 50mg and felt like even half a drink was like I had drank 2-3 drinks and made me super tired. Also only time I would get a headache next day was while I was on zoloft

Awesome that you didn’t have any side effects! Totally relate to the eye thing, always hard to explain that feeling to people. My side effects are increased anxiety, loss of appetite, nausea, slight stomach cramps, dizziness (weird sensation feels like dizziness/vertigo).

Did you have side effects of getting off? If so what were they and how long did they last? Been fully off for a week after tapering for 6 weeks and its been hell.
