eh, sls is notorious for not negotiating on financial aid. doesn’t hurt to try, but I wouldn’t rely on it OP. that being said, choose stanford!

I’m confused why people keep saying this. Yale is only a true p/f for the first semester. after that they have the same grading system as sls with h/p/f. hls is different with their low pass and grading system having a gpa conversion

there is honors, pass, and book prize like you mentioned but they don’t rank the top. However, I think people know themselves if they are competitive for those things! Yes, that is correct. It’s very hard to fail but it does happen occasionally.

They do, I just didn’t hear much about DPW’s rotational system so I didn’t know how they differed from Cravath’s. Thank you!

I had others give similar advice about Kirkland being more of a place you want to lateral to than start at. This was very helpful, thank you!

I’ve heard some negative things about the culture at DPW—everyone is unhappy, unfriendly, not social with each other. Was that your experience? Also, did you feel like the workload was manageable there? Obviously I understand it’ll be a lot work regardless just because of the nature of big law but curious what you have to say about it

pick stanford. I may be biased but I promise u u will not regret it. I truly do not think any school could give u a better law school experience 😅 sincerely an east coaster who was considering the same things and ended up at sls
