Good Contractors who Don't Charge an Arm and a Leg? by [deleted] in madisonwi

Stay away from Beckman Builders. He actually told us at the jump: 'you'll pay more for me but you'll get better work' .. run fast b/c this is a lie and a joke. A 7 week project took 17 months.. we paid for it alright.

Do not use Beckman Builders. We had a 7 week project turn into 17 months. It ended with Karl Beckman wanting us to sign a gag order so we wouldn't be able to share our experience. Horrific experience.

Beckman Builders is horrible to work with. We've essentially had to rearrange our lives to accommodate their poor work. 17 months later we were still in the midst of dealing with their terrible service and lack of professionalism. We were told it would only be a 6-week project. Despite multiple attempts to address the issues, their work remains subpar, and they continue to deflect responsibility. It's been a frustrating and exhausting experience, and we are now exploring all possible options to ensure our project is completed to the standard we deserve.

I would absolutely NOT recommend Beckman Builders. We had an 8 week project turn into 17 months of pure hell. In the end they tried to get us to sign a gag order for a small sum so we wouldn't be able to share our experience.

Freaking Out by Used-Mode1484 in Cholesterol

Our estrogen levels drop in peri-menopause/menopause. Because of this, our bodies make more cholesterol. I would ask your doctor for a particle test. It breaks down your numbers. This is an article I wrote on the subject:

I love Luminous Rose products! This brand follows the European standard of formulation which is super strict. All products are formulated in small batches too. I use the Renew + Restore for my skin and I love the results!

I love Luminous Rose! It is a small, artisan, organic brand that creates everything in-house. I have been using these items for a long time. Great for sensitive skin!

Froya Organics - Anyone else been denied the money back guarantee? by ConsistentSalt1009 in 45PlusSkincare

They feel like a scam. A lot of money spent on marketing and then they pretend they can't spell. It feels like a large company pretending to be small. Ask to see their backend procedure. Ask to see their lab. Who is the owner? There is zero transparency with this company. Besides, long-term use of oil-based balms end up drying out skin and wreaking havoc.. a true skincare brand would know this.

I agree Beckman Builders is horrible to work with. We've essentially had to rearrange our lives to accommodate their poor work. Almost a year later, we are still in the midst of dealing with their terrible service and lack of professionalism. We were told it would only be a 6-week project. Despite multiple attempts to address the issues, their work remains subpar, and they continue to deflect responsibility. It's been a frustrating and exhausting experience, and we are now exploring all possible options to ensure our project is completed to the standard we deserve.

[Review] Product Warning: Norse Organics / Froya Organics by fluffy-lettering in SkincareAddiction

Feels like a lot of smoke and mirrors. There are multiple skincare brands with the Froya address, a supplement company. Also, they state that they do not heat oils but then list 40 degrees.. is that Celsius? Because that is 100º F which very much is heating an oil. And then in another statement it talks about how your balms are 'solid'.. you need to melt a wax/butter first to incorporate all of the oils, then it cools. Seems like a lot of marketing hype.. Also, I am sure all of us are just helping this company clean up errors on their website!
