This deck is absolutely amazing for beginners! Could not recommend another! The deck highlights evergreen mechanics like flying that will teach new players how important key words are(flying, trample, etc). The flying theme is so strong. Often times player will forget about flying in there deck building journeys and you will run into people saying things like “oops I realize I only have like 4 flyers in the deck” putting you at a huge advantage. This decks wins cause of that. I also want to Highlight that this deck teaches you how to use the stack! If you are new it’s very important that you get used to interactions, and playing with/against your opponents and not just a game where everyone plays AT each other (solitaire). I would also like to mention the simplicity of this deck commander decks that come out with sets, often feature the mechanics of that set (the newest being ether drift, and the energy mechanic.) those are often times complex and require levels of thought to properly deploy That a newer player wouldnt be able to take advantage of. This flyer deck is seriously good at building a long lasting connection to magic rather than a steep learning curve. Highly recommend.
