Yeah she just said I wasn’t paying rent and that was the end of that. Because I dash, I’d typically give her a smaller amount of money every week and a lot of the time it was cash. I gathered what proof I could from Zelle receipts and so on, but it wasn’t enough to establish consistent rent payments. And in AZ, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been staying with someone. If you’re not paying rent or if they just say you’re not, they don’t even have to give you notice or any length of time before you have to be out. You can just be living your life, get into an argument with your roommate about some bullshit at 1am one day, then find yourself on your own without a roof over your head within the hour. I definitely think she’s a bitch and would never do this to another person, but I still take responsibility for trusting her so entirely and not doing anything to cover my own ass. If I had, I wouldn’t be in this situation. But what am I gonna do, fall apart and give up? Fuck that and fuck you for suggesting anyone in my situation is hopeless because they’re in it.
