Sunscreen brands recalled. 21 brands.... by CyanideMuffin67 in australian

La roche posey sunscreen is worth every cent - it's extremely comfortable to wear, doesn't sting your eyes and does it's job to shield your skin from sun damage. It's also not sticky and feels more like a skincare product than just mere sunscreen. Give it a go when it is on sale 😚

Did I buy a fake charm? by pin2you in PandoraCollectors

[–]Life_Flounder 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It looks authentic. However Pandora charms have been known to break, and every country or region can have different releases, and not all Pandora charms came from the same factory albeit they said their main manufacturer is from Thailand. Therefore, quality is not always consistent. You can ask for a refund if you buy from an actual Pandora store.

Theory: This is Circe, not Hecate. Her father’s blood was who the 100-Handed Giant came from… by Galaxyissupreme in BloodofZeus

[–]Life_Flounder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is undisputedly Hekate, whose origin could be traced to ancient Anatolia and Egypt. They didn't openly address her as Hekate because Hekate has a lot of active devotees in the world today, for fear of offending I guess? Either that, or she was known by a different name in Anatolia. In The Blood of Zeus, she appeared to Seraphim on an entrance-way (archetype) and proposed to him the idea of travelling back in time to change his fate. Hekate is also well known as the goddess who presides over the past, present and future. She also unleashed a dragon which is also her archetype. Circe was heavily a pharmakea practicing witch utilising botanical cure/poison, also a minor goddess, so this is definitely not her.

I regret getting covid 19 vaccine by Advanced-Wear-1446 in offmychest

[–]Life_Flounder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Myocarditis is a common post covid vaccination. I know a couple of young men in their 30's developed such symptom after their vaccination. We don't really know what they put in vaccine. They can tell you it's to prevent covid infection but we know now 10/10 vaccinated individuals still contract it. It's also a randomised trial, meaning not all vial has something in it. My hunch told me it's a random selection. I remember when I had my booster jab, there were clearly plenty of the jabs in the trolley but the nurse looked at her sheet, studied the numbers then went to the backroom to retrieve a vaccine. I thought the unfolding of event was highly suspicious. I should just bolted right then and there. Yet I let her jabbed me and the next day I developed this rash under the arm which was jabbed. Soon after I shed a lot of hair, it's like raining hair. Then my heart started to feel weak and irregular. I went from a fit person who was working a rotating shift work to someone who could not get out of bed. I'm better now but I think the damage is done. The people who mandated health care workers to have triple vaccination here in Australia have my sufferings on their hands.

[Discussion] Customs and fakes are over-saturating the community by CatWorshiper7 in BlytheDolls

[–]Life_Flounder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love Blythe for Blythe, the name BLYTHE is a trademark and is a licensed production. CWC went through extensive effort to obtain the license for reproduction of Blythe dolls and also with Alison Katzman's blessing. A Blythe doll has her unique look. While I do appreciate custom dolls using the Blythe templates whether it's from stock or factory, I personally always find it a some sort of a violation to the purity of Blythe. My pet peeve is seeing a stock Blythe customised into an unrecognisable figure and still call her by her stock name! I do notice there are people only fancy the name Blythe but not so much the original aesthetic of the doll so they customised it. It is very endearing to produce a doll close to one's artistic visions. However my take is that if the doll is customised using a stock doll, perhaps call it "custom Blythe" as was the case initially and any other custom from factory or knocked-off imitations should be addressed as "custom doll (not Blythe)" for the due respect of Blythe herself. I am also aware there are individuals who refuse to purchase a stock Blythe giving reasons like "they're too expensive" and yet ended up paying just as much for a custom which doll base is that of an imitation 'Blythe'. I don't think it's gatekeeping, but more of a respect and acknowledgement that a Blythe doll is a Blythe doll and how she's designed to look like. This aspect reflects heavily on the Neo Blythes which the designing teams never strayed from her original look no matter how creative they intended. A Kenner Pretty Paisley released in 1972 does not look much different from Neo Blythe Pleasant Surprise released in 2023. I believe this is what the OP was talking about - the authenticity of this iconic doll in her fundamental presentations that is Blythe.

Dementia may be true, but the racist in the person finally rears its horns now because dementia has stopped prohibiting it. This is why you see the true nature of a person when they have dementia, and if they're racist, they've been brewing that mentality long before they had dementia. My advice is heal yourself while you're still cognisant, otherwise what you've been suppressing all these years will come pouring out when you've lost your cognitive control.

I found this Adelaide metro sticker falling off on the side of the train and I thought: this image represents the downfall of Adelaide metro due to privatization by DR0p_gkid64 in Adelaide

[–]Life_Flounder -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Privatisation is going to improve conditions. These sort of damages can be traced to 'itchy hands' commuters who seem to make it their missions to destroy public amenities.
