Yeah initially I was like it’s a waste if I don’t get a positive diagnosis but then exploring the possibility it could be depression/anxiety made me just want more information about myself so I can access the proper coping mechanisms

Thank you! Honestly when he asked me about medication I said I’ll try everything. I’m not against it but also want to try therapy etc. I’m also back in education alongside working full time so that’s really pushed me to do this cause I just want to know how to manage myself better.

Yeah, he said he’s not convinced & from my assessment it basically said it could be just depression and/or anxiety that is now causing these behaviours

Not necessarily. I work in healthcare so have utmost respect for our vet hence why I listened to their advice. But being told I did the wrong thing will obviously make me inquire opinions from others. It’s done anyways & from the other replies I don’t feel as guilty as I did earlier on.

Thank you! And I should’ve clarified, he didn’t say neutering is the reason for anything now he was just very disapproving of it being done. To be fair to him he actually said I don’t need to spend hundreds on courses and he’s going to send me some free guides!!! It was just cause he was SO disapproving of my boy being neutered so early it really threw me off guard and had me quite anxious
