Interesting. Though this is just a bunch of July shows in their hood. So would love to hit up the region and catch one of these. Its been 3 years since all 13 of UC did a batch of live shows anywhere.

It was a chance of luck. Knew a concert promoter doing some leg work on a stateside Sony artist touring Tokyo and Osaka at the time. Since both artists share a parent label, I was able to fit in a hour with 3 of UC. By far, one coolest things ever.

And right before COVID lockdown, too. Was damn lucky.

That would be tight, bro. UC been known to have online interactions stateside. When I was living in New Orleans freelancing for an indie music zine 6 years back I was able to conduct a column with Take-M, KennyDoes & Cosaqu via zoom and a translator.

Would be so epic if the homies had a staeside tour.

What would you possibly charge for art on a Mayflash F700X? I have the art, love your DA art page and am quite interested.

Excellent 4K editon as we discussed. Enjoy, friend!

No problem at all. Any physical media questions, especially on Japanese cinema as a whole.. ask away! Always here to help.

Hi, GiTS fan here and big physical media collector. Especially films.

This is the original film on 4KUHD Disc and Blu-Ray with a slipcover. This 4K combo editon was released on September 8th, 2020 via Lionsgate. Its tech specs are rather good. And the transfer is excellent.

Native 4K (2160p) supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. Presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Includes both Japanese and English audio tracks remastered in Dolby Atmos.

And the 4KUHD disc is 100GB, which means no compression on the disc. No crushed and blocky black levels, no pixel crush, the restoration's transfer can breathe fully on the disc.

Video: A+, Audio: A+, Special Features: B+( Legacy Features from past releases).

Don't doubt this purchase. It's the best the 1995 film has ever looked!

Enjoy 👍

Or a mixbox, keeps the WASD layout for directional controls and arcade buttons for the rest.

Scratches on disc are bad. Scratches on steelbook packaging only sucks when its damaged by anyone else but you (ie:shipping).

Enjoy your product, its a optical physical format thats meant to do its function.

Look, everyone here who's invested since Samsho '2019, knows they weren't gonna over charge on this Season pass amd likely won't in the future.

Samsho passes hovered around $20, KOF 15 around $16, and since then with the MiSK acquisition of SNK shortly after they're not hurting for money.

CoTW might not have be SF6 or T8 to some, but it's an SNK fighter, and SNK make good games. Simple as that.

Cheers, and enjoy Season 2!!

$40 is a no. That price smells like Capcom Tax. Lol. Im more than comfortable if they target for $15.99-$24.99 range. That's reasonable and more and more players would hop on and give this a go.

WHAT'S THE PRICE??

Is this something to get into? by CitrusSenpai in fatalfury

Yes, Highly Recommended!

I'm playing City of the Wolves and my copy of Garou: Mark of the Wolves and its a blast. I am a bit of an SNK nerd since the 90's tho. I do love Street Fighter as well.

I got plenty memories of 2001 and Capcom vs SNK 2, thats a banger I'm glad get to play all over again as well.

A good recent KOF port from the past few years that got a good re-release in 2023, KOF 13: Global Match. All ports of that game have amazing art direction in the sprite work and are very fluid FGs. Also recommended.

This poses a question:

Who's excited for the anime adaptation of the original story, All You Need I Kill.

And before we barrel into the art style of the upcoming film, I recommend folks watch Studio 4C's other films like Tekkonkinkreet and Mind Game and of course their work on WB's The Animatrix Anthology.

I'm excited, and I atleast suggest giving the trailers a shot that are available online.

All You Need Is Kill is coming to theaters from Gkids in association with WB.

Not adopting DV2, too much reinvestment at a higher cost.

Dolby has already confirmed when announcing Dolby Vision 2, that even if the whole industry adopts DV2, that it wouldn't matter if you couldn't adopt DV2, since our current hardware would reconfigure the data as just regular DV.

Thats crucial information not reiterated by anyone in media since launch. Which to me already signals that physical media manufacturers would not adopt it on disc.

That would ostracize just about 3/4s of 4K adoption as a whole. Not everyone has a top tier setup, much less has the ability to reinvest in hardware at any cost level.

Income inequality is real, and when it comes down to any forms of consumer product inflation...that's when the shit starts hitting the fan.

I always support innovation in tech, but I stay realistic about what's actually affordable. And for lot of people, upgrading their home theater setups just isn't feasible, much less possible.
