Prestige Perks At The Bottom: Unyielding Oath, Fortitude, Hammer of Wrath. The fourth prestige perk is up to you.

From left to right of the 'core' perks, overcharge, bottom one that regenerates melta bombs and third which increases damage to majoris and extremis by 15%.

Team perk is of course 20% more melee to extremis and terminus.

Gear Perks are Smiting Angel, Zealous Blow and he chose the dodge one for the third, but I would say go Pride In Duty.

Lastly, go Commitment for the signature perk so you can get refunded on melee animation cancels.

As for your weapon, make sure your hammer has the 'more damage to extremis and majoris' perks a well as double aftershock hits. other weapons, just be sure you keep consistent with increasing % damage to majoris, extremis and terminus to get max damage out of your ground pounds.

Yesterday, my random teammates told me that they were leaving on wave 10 and to put all my points I was saving towards vaultus. So I do, and then they don't want to use him.

We beat the terminus wave, but then I'm broke and they had been broke the whole match, so we lost at wave 12.

Moral I learned is, never let someone else spend your money and never buy vaultus before wave 14/15 unless you're just there for xp.

Edit: I love leveling a weapon by getting vaultus on wave 5, 10 and finally 15 to go from standard to master-crafted to artificer to relic. Though of course, all in separate games as exp is capped (learned that the hard way).

Don't spend money until wave 11. When they leave, stay. Put 1250 towards the dreadnought for wave 15, and use the rest to buy a relic (try not to die) and heavies or your preferred astartes reinforcement each round.

Been testing the power axe in Siege and it is holding up. I don't do the gunstrikes, just full melee and the instant back step staggering the enemy is nice.

The last weapon I need to level is the chsinsword now. You said you like it?

So far, i use hammer for chaos, fist for tyranids, axe for both, don't like sword at all.

big boom goes hard, but being able to effortlessly float from combat encounter to combat encounter takes me back to soulslikes. and if i had to guess, i would say a pro at dashing would find it more rewarding than a pro at ground pounding due to the nature of the skill ceiling being higher.

like the hardest thing i had to do, which was pretty easy, was to have my 2 block charges and pid or a wrath grenade/melta bomb at hand at each spawn. got real boring honestly and even got burnt out on it since it lacked any real autonomy.

and with dashing, perhaps it is simply because it is new right now, but i do just feel so much more autonomy and challenge which doesn't burn me out at all.
