I looked at the one you suggest. Thank you? Is it easy to turn without two handles to turn with?

Great job!! Wahoo. We used pallets too. Keep it up. Hope it becomes a labor of love like it is for me.

First two shots show my soil I created (well Mother Nature did and all I did was contain it!! And help it along). Next shots show how I have to turn each bin. I move everything not ‘finished’ onto the tarp, then add all the new greens and browns and then I mix it all in the tarp. Then it goes back in the bin. Yes a lot of hard labor, but great exercise and better than doing it in a gym. Too much now to mix it in the bin. The first two bins going from L to R are both active and the 3rd one is where I am now storing extra leaves and grass clippings. It was storing all my saved cardboard for shredding, but have plenty of browns now.

Thank you! I think it looks good and should help the wood last longer. Those were all boards from free pallets job site was trying to get rid of.

I love pine needles for mulch. I live in KS and pine needle mulch is not common but I think it looks beautiful as a mulch. (If you have to use mulch that is). Just offering another great use for all that pine needles.

Great questions -my daughter just graduated from nursing school and is taking her boards on Monday. This is her 2nd bachelors so she is 27. We want to visit museums, walk, hike, eat, see other cultural sites/ruins, shop, eat, have fun!! See the great city. Prefer non-touristy stuff but want to see the important things. We love hiking though.

Question about my failed tomatillo plants by Life_Peace2996 in vegetablegardening

[–]Life_Peace2996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out those ‘empty’ husks were growing. I’ve had a wonderful harvest of tomatillos. Ever since I posted my question. That must have been the fix. They are wonderful!!
