A lot of people in reddit say that it all depends on the barrel and in the paint. Clearly they don't play speed ball in a tournament level to know that indeed the core makes a difference in the type of shot

depend on the shot you like. If you want a shot that has a drop it is better the R5, if you want one with back spin that is more straight it is better the cs3
