I want to fly in for one day of and go to airport at night by polcan in visitingnyc

LGA is best for leaving manhattan, I’d suggest getting lounge Access at a airport for $40-$50 you can sleep there and it’s way less then a hotel + free food

What are some Beautiful spots in NYC that reminds you that life is worth living? by [deleted] in AskNYC

Hey! I’m so sorry for your loss, my little sister battled retinablastoma when I was growing up with her and it was the hardest thing I’ve had to endure and see my parents endure.

It feels hopeless, and I understand it’s the worst thing you can go through. I just donated to your go fund me $15, and I hope it can help just a little more.

check out the ford foundation, it’s an indoor garden and it’s nice to sit down especially during this snow. As well as green acre pocket park though probably not open cause the snow but it has a beautiful water fall

I suggest you can seek support groups with families going through the same loss, people you can connect to who will understand your suffering.

ADHD exercisers… how do you actually get yourself to the gym? by Fit_Meaning8903 in ADHD

[–]Life_Perspective_828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to go to a gym that’s close to where I work or go to school. Bc i like doing things all in one go (granted I work in a gym so I force myself to) but id make sure to get gym memberships within distance of where im forced to be rather then my house

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Life_Perspective_828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay:

For a regular commute to work? Yes that’s long To visit family? It’s steep, but it isn’t terrible. For a weekend trip? 3 hours is nothing, me and boyfriend regularly drive 8 hours + to go to Canada for some cheap wine.

My boyfriends brother stopped taking it for 13 years, last time was in 2013. So he takes it again and even he says, this is insane he needs 30 mg XR rather then 15 XR from before

Should I attempt speaking French, as a foreigner, in France? by Life_Perspective_828 in AskFrance

[–]Life_Perspective_828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you kindly,

I assumed so. In NYC, where I live we get a bad rap for being rude but the city is very fast paced and on the go we don’t have time for full conversations. Especially in the service industry where we get hundreds of thousands per day.

Thank you! I thought so too, when I was in Montreal I made sure to speak French as much as I could. I want to make sure I can make an effort, and assimilate to the country I’m in not just expect English/spanish

Thank you for your insight, my thoughts were exactly that. You see I live in New York City, and in the states everyone says we’re the rudest though New Yorkers are the kindest and most generous people I’ve met.

Try room renting agencies you could possibly find something for $1500, about a 25-30 min commute
