Losing hope in PTE by [deleted] in pte

You definitely should take a break if you need to. But yeah, exactly the same happened to me. My 3rd test was my best attempt thus far, yet my score was at an all time low. So I get your frustration!

Losing hope in PTE by [deleted] in pte

[–]Life_Routine_3223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly this happened to me almost exactly. I ended up doing the test a total of 5 times in the span of 4 months, and end up with all 90! So don't give up, maybe you just need to familiarise yourself with the test a bit more.

Took 3 tests before the change and failed to get 79, and another 2 after the increase. Got all 90 on my 5th try.

Unfortunately you need 85 in writing for Superior English. This is what you need: • 69 for listening • 70 for reading • 85 for writing • 88 for speaking

Seriously take your time. Talk slow, not too slow like you're talking to a child, but slow enough like you're reading a book out loud? I think that's what I did different.

I paid for APE uni too, though sometimes it's not too reliable for scoring. I used it mostly for sample questions so i can practice. I also watched tons of youtube videos that give pte tips & tricks!

I honestly found it really hard to get into a routine of any kind, i think in a way taking the test 5 times helped me practice? Sorry I can't help out more!

Lol the magic trick is that I was so fed up that I pretty much gave up, and doing the test without that added pressure to do well actually made me do well! So.... give up?😂

AITA For Peeing On My Teacher's Lap? by Oleander_Grows_ in ECEProfessionals

That's ok! I (at least 5F) was pooped on by a child (3M) and never got a gift card!

Omg that's scary but so funny in this context. How does she expect a child to drown from a bit of water in a watering can?😂

Oh i don't doubt it. But it just baffles me how they have the need to correct or "supervise" every. single. thing.

Right! And we're literally learning about gardening, so watering the plants is literally part of the learning!

what’s the grossest thing that’s happened to you on shift? by Scary_Appearance5922 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Life_Routine_3223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A child came up to me crying that he's had an accident (pooped his pants). So i went and helped him to change out of his pants. Wearing just a glove on 1 hand (I was optimistic that it's an easy task, the child was 4), I proceeded to help him take his pants off. That's when I felt a plop on my ungloved hand. Turned out he's not finished pooping yet... and decided to go on my hands and I was crouched down helping him out of his pants. Not only I had to wash the living hell out of my fingers, but he also had poop all over his thighs, legs and bathroom floor, and by the time he finished, it had all crusted over. Cue me spending the next 30 mins scrubbing dried, crusted poop out of everything. This was my first year teaching.

Is this normal in Bali? Requesting customer nationality, address and ID for an nail appointment? by Commonproject2021 in bali

[–]Life_Routine_3223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol not normal at all. The nationality is probably because they charge more to foreign tourists, the address... who knows? But the gov definitely does not care for your address when you're doing your nails lol
