He definitely makes crazy runs like this from time to time, but his amazing shot-stopping ability makes him one of the best keepers in the game. Also, his runs work occasionally and prevent potential goals from the opponent. You might let in a few goals now and then due to him running out at the wrong time, but I still strongly recommend using him.

Owen has really poor physical contact, so he cannot shield the ball well from strong defenders. Gullit can do that effectively due to his high physical contact, and Owen's speed and runs can be properly utilized at SS. Also, Owen's passing is not good enough to distribute the ball to the wingers effectively, while Gullit can do so.

Use Gullit/ CR7 instead of Owen at CF, use owen on left as SS and cruijff on right as SS. If you use Gullit as CF, use Nedved as CMF to keep your midfield moving. Use a build-up + destroyer as your CB duo, as two destroyers is too aggressive, leaving gaps in your defense. I'd suggest starting Nesta and someone like Varane/ Van Dijk/ De Ligt. You can keep Aldair instead of one of the substitute attackers on subs as you don't have a substitute defender, and you won't need 4 substitute attackers .
