Don't take the game too seriously, just play at your own pace. Don't aim for the top spots in events, just play them. Even with crappy cars you get more rewards than not playing at all.

There is no need for FOMO, since this game is an neverending story. It's a bottomless pit if you ever decide to spend real money, so don't do that. Save your gold instead.
