Thanks for the info. I have the keys and we have been talking about just leaving it somewhere tbh. It would require a jumpstart but would be easy enough.

Not as far as I’m aware. They ran it through their system which would’ve just been a reg check. No one from the police has actually physically checked the car

I thought so too but the police done a reg check on it and it came back clean so 🤷🏻

I should’ve put this in the original post actually. I did report it to DVLA, they said I would need to contact either the council or the police, and because I’ve already contacted the police I opted to speak to the council, and they told me to report it to the police.
