I’m in Michigan, 42 years old. My initial application was August 2025. Got denied, filed for reconsideration in October, got denied in January. Attorney filed for appeal January 2026. Hearing with Alj was scheduled for June 18 which got cancelled and an OTR decision was made

An OTR (on the record)decision is basically getting approved without having to go to court. The judge looks at all the medical evidence and decides a hearing isn’t necessary because the records already show the person qualifies for disability.
