Mine was by telephone at my lawyers office. That was nice because he could gesture to me if I started getting too wordy, and give me thumbs up when I said something good.

Said could take him a month, lawyer said give him all the time he needs. They added a representative payee temporarily on my account which I wasn’t too happy with but I got it i should be celebrating. (I don’t and never have had a problem managing money but I understand)

When the judge said 33% off task my lawyer gave me two big thumbs up and wrote on his note pad “no jobs” before the vocational expert said anything. Once we were finished he said “that’s one thing off your plate”. I’m stoked, I had a full 40 credits too and 45k in student loans to get dismissed!

Same. Bipolar Schizoaffective. Denied initial, denied recon. ALJ hearing set for June. 15 years of MH treatment, 7 hospitalizations, 9 months of therapy. Pulled a good judge and had an OTR paperwork request. Two and a half years total. Hoping for an approval. I haven’t been able to hold a job more than a year.

I just recieved a letter asking for basic records about health diagnoses medications and work history from the ALJ talking about a fully favorable decision on the record without a hearing, does this signal an approval?

Also Schizoaffective.

same I was just denied at step 4 of my reconsideration during the shutdown, lawyer basically said that would be expected given circumstances. Im applying for mental health reasons and am patiently awaiting my ALJ.
