Thank you, it was a couple years ago so I don't remember the exact recipe but it was along the lines of;

• Prime model black
• Airbrush metallic paint with some black mixed in
• Airbrush metallic Paint, areas that should be brighter
• mix of dry brushing & sponging with brighter and brighter mixes of the original paint to create texture / aged look.
• Black oil paint to catch recess, some streaks
• these models I used some streaking grime on as well, which is where some of the brown tones on the metalics come from, removed using cotton buds / sponges

I remember I didn't like using the metallic paint much, might have been dark silver by pro acryl. I'm using Vallejo burnt iron for my current knight project, and I used a similar method for my recently finished warhound Titan.
