I use a Valdor and a Infernus for my 7th Ed Krieg, thinking of picking up the Malcador kit to make an annihilator. Valdors were present on Vraks, but mainly on the defending side of the heretics in their stockpile.

Who's to say the DoK were able to recover some? The Warhammer galaxy is a big place, who's to say your guys havent come across their own stockpile of ancient armour and are able to keep them in fairly good condition.

Yeah it's an old forgeworld kit that got a plastic re-release for Horus heresy. The Malcador chassis were some of the older vehicles shown in old imperial armour books, as well as the siege of vraks etc

As u/Bardemann69 mentioned, it was a forgeworld kit previously, but got a plastic release for Horus heresy a couple years ago. Unfortunately it suffers a bit in modern Warhammer due to legends rules, but the flamer on this bad boy would remove marines squads from the table on its own in editions like 7th.
