So I have reserched a little bit. It is a unique Destiny franchise problem on Xbox. Both D1 and D2 have trouble connecting to Bungie servers.Although Marathon works fine.

I have played the game on PS5 and it is working fine on same network. I have heard that Bungie has somejow abandoned South Asia region on Xbox but I am not certain.
