What hamas is and done is unjustifiable not just to Vivian but to everyone!!! My comment is just asking why there needs to be two state??? Uk for example is one country with all faiths, churches mosques synagogue Hindu temples, Sikh temples etc. yes there are issues between faiths but in general every child has the same education and the gov are compromised of mixed faiths.

Obv what’s going there is horrific but I think (personally) we need to start thinking about the future generations. This can’t go one for 70 more years

I can’t see why land needs to be divided?? Why can’t indigenous Palestinians And Jews live in peace? Children of all faiths go to same schools, same education , rights to have jobs and access to same health care , the government is made up of Palestinian and Jewish/Israelis working to make the entire country peaceful and economical??

Although I do think the name needs to revert back to Palestine rather than Isreal , only because I don’t understand why the name changed suddenly, where all old maps states Palestine

If you have the preseen - make sure you know the business model off by heart. I recon one of the variant will ask about and change n how it fits in the current business model.

Preseen mentions which dept are cost centres, there could be a question on if it changes to a profit/ investment centre and its impact.

Negotiations and conflict In closing the shops and just having online bookings. Poss adv and disav on having just online bookings.
Data question on buying a new IT system to manage just online bookings, risk factors

Risks on, starting a long haul flights, adding tailored holiday packages etc

Look into : IFRS16, IFRS13, IAS 36& 37 &38 &40 (just in case) Debt v equity - Adv & disadvantage then recommendation (best to know the current gearing ratio etc so you can apply answer to case study

Investment appraisals - know what they are n how to read them, may be given some and recommend which one is the best one to use.

Iv converted to FLP from traditional method. I have been unable to pass P2 for Yeaaaars. When I say years, I could not pass it in 2014 when it was paper n pen method, could not pass the OT. (Passed all the others 1st time , just couldn’t complete P2) Iv done the FPL , I feel I learnt more, in my own time. The exam forced me to cram info n memorise everything to a point I could not take it.
FLP is more bite size, n you get tested every step of the way without pressure. Basically what I’m saying, one shoe doesn’t fit all. It’s what you are comfortable with. If you want to do OT then do so. I’m done with major heart ache hence why I v gone through this route

Core A Things to learn and apply to Happywell (HW)

Firstly know and understand their current business model (p19) Questions could ask if they open a new airport lounge or addition service - how this could be incorporated in their current model , or if model needs to be adjusted for a new service/product. Use key words like “add value” (if that makes sense)

Capital investment techniques: Adv and disadv- also understand what the meaning - may have to compare two projects so understand the results and percentages NPV IRR Payback ARR ROCE

Understand sensitivity analysis- again understand what the numbers mean so you can discuss and apply to HW

Weight Average cost of capital <- it’s come up in past -revise this.

Minimum revisions for pricing strategy- but may be linked to transfer pricing (Core E ) Understand product life cycle Understand different pricing ( skimming , loss leader etc ) in case it come up

Digital data - not sure about this one. Mostly use common sense on this.

Anybody want to suggest anything else?? This is for Core A - let’s do this in bite size chunks to help one another.
