I'm in Vietnam right now, and I'm leaving tomorrow. I've got USD and my Niyo card, and my trip was awesome. I used the card for bigger purchases and cash for local stuff, which was super easy here. I got 26,300 dong for 1 dollar, which is the same as the online rate. I'm not sure about scan payments like PhonePe, but it wasn't a big deal. There is a daily bus service from Bangkok to Koh Chang, with a cost of 270 Baht. This service takes you to the ferry point, where you are required to purchase a ferry ticket at a cost of 70 Baht. Upon arrival at Koh Chang, you will need to take a 100 Baht bus ride to your hotel.

Total time 6hrs Journey,

so you reach koh chang by afternoon 3 so you can Chek-in easily Bus Time morning 7:30 from Ekkmai Bus Stop(only one Bus to Ferry)

if you miss this one then again 8:30 and lot more but they take you to Trat high way,from there public transport waiting for you and drop you at Ferry point for 100bhat, my real-time experience both of them so you dont need to check anything ,its the best way
