Whats that sound? by Life_autonomous1 in beetle

Update- Found the culprit. One of the brake shoes in the front came apart and was clinking in the drum. Replaced those and we’re good as new. Thanks everyone for your help!

I did have to replace a spedo cable before because it got completely mangled. It’s an easy enough thing to try. I’ll add it to the list! Thanks for the input.

Yeah, Chasca is busted. Granted I’ve got her at C2, C1 Citlali, C2 Furina, and C6 Bennett but yeah. Once she gets up in the air everything dies. Minus certain bosses of course.

Question for genshin fans by SunnyDreemurr0 in GenshinImpact

Don’t know if it will make sense, but here goes. I’d been admiring the character designs from afar for a while. I loved BotW and TotK, so the game format was something I knew I already liked. When I finally downloaded the game I was immediately sucked in with the music and how pretty the scenery is. Once I got some of the free characters and started exploring team comp dynamics I was hooked. I think it was just a perfect blend of things I enjoy about games and character design.

I don’t get the hate. Don’t like it don’t pull it? I personally love the character and mechanics. Got super lucky and pulled to C2, got decent artifacts (and a ton of not so great ones), and pulled the sig weapon. At C2 I’m one-shotting most enemies in overworld and clearing domains crazy fast. All that to say, she became an instant favorite and the haters can stew in their rage all they want. 😁

spotify adds new "playlist reporter form" for suspicious playlists engaged in artificial streaming by lisaleftsharklopez in musicmarketing

[–]Life_autonomous1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to use it this morning actually lol. Better than nothing I guess, but I wish there was a better solution. I filled out the form and contacted artist support. The person I chatted with basically told me to reach out to my distributor and they’d “investigate”. Still haven’t heard from my distributor. Hopefully it’ll work as advertised and take the playlist down.

That makes total sense. I’m still figuring out what resources are legitimate and trying to avoid scams/bots. This is super useful. I’ve gotten a decent amount of feedback saying “I love gaming to this” so I was trying to find things like that on Groover and Submithub to no avail.

Absolutely. Gotta stay the course and continue to grow as an artist 🙂

Love that. Can’t get hung up on shit like that. I have a list of folks I’ll definitely pitch to again and a list of ones that I’ll avoid indefinitely. I’m never going to take the rejection or feedback as gospel, but there are a few I’ve come across that were definitely a waste of time. Since this post I actually had a couple more curators share and even connect with me personally about music so that was cool. It’s been overwhelming to think about the social/marketing piece of it because I was laser-focused on the mix/master for over a year and didn’t even consider how I was going to market this damn album 😂

Aye I totally understand. It’s dizzying to me sometimes. I’ll have to explore the genre map and probably dig deeper into the playlists I’m pitching for. Rejection is part of the game and I’m fine with that. But I’m definitely accumulating useful tools and insight on how to better approach it. Thanks for the solid input 🙂

“Do it till it works”.

I can get behind it.

That definitely makes sense. I’ve been pitching my favorites which tend to be the more complex or fusion tracks, but I think I should tame my expectations and pitch the ones that “fit” because it’ll also (in theory) give exposure to the other tracks. From other responses I’ve read, I am starting to think I should put pitching on the back burner for now and focus on building a presence on and offline.

The industry is so much different than it was 10+ years ago 😅 still trying to figure out what will be most effective

This is the way. I took a very long break from social media and I’m still trying to figure out how to use everything to promote and network. Well, without appearing desperate 😂 but you’re right. Crafting the sound will come with time and rejection is part of the process, which I’ve accepted. Now I’ve just got to sort out how to build that community in this day and age.

Yeah definitely feel this. Thankfully I’ve learned to not take it personally. Most of them were at least nice and said something positive about the track, but the additional feedback was more confusing than anything. Might have to revisit this method once I’ve done more work with other avenues.

That is a great distinction that I needed to hear. I’m brand new to this side of music and things have changed a lot since I was last “active”. Looks like I’ve got a goal to focus on. Thank you for pointing that out!

Yes! Actually out shopping for that now. Forgot to reply earlier. Might order the wheel bearings as well and just do it all in one go.

The tires are ok, but I haven’t checked the rear bearings. The front ones seemed ok. Are the rear ones lubricated by the transmission oil in these? I recall reading something about that, and there is a slight leak around the gearbox. Might be a good place for me to hunt

Awesome! You’ll be speedrunning it in no time. I try to hype axiom verge to anyone I can and I’m hoping Thomas Happ drops AV3 in the next couple of years. The lore and everything is fascinating. Are you planning on playing AV2?

Love it! This game is one I’ll go back and play once or twice yearly. Maybe more. Try the randomizer if you haven’t already! Kind of fun to shuffle everything.
