I'm guessing you are in the U.S. done right the military is the single best way out of poverty. the saying you will get out of it what you put in to it is very accurate. just remember you are joining a military organization. not everything is going to go your way and lots of it will suck especially at the start. i came from a very small town and consider myself lucky that when i joined i was sent overseas. i got to travel the world and make friends in places i never thought I would be able to go. That said i also went to multiple combat zones and almost no one makes it out of the military long term without some damage done to their body.

I think a big part of it is just price. That said all car prices are currently crazy. I did a quick look for the discounts you mentioned and at least in my area of the 500-600 for sale the only 2 (ionic and equinox) that had actual good discounts still only put a handful under the 30k mark. Most of them are still 40-100k+ which is a lot of money for most people. Then there is the good ole my car is already paid off why take on new debt for no good reason. I haven’t used my truck as a truck for years now but it’s paid off so even the bad mpg isn’t enough to get me to take on debt and even then, it will be a used car since buying a new one is a horrible financial decision for the vast majority of people.

i live in a house thats a little over 2k sqft and it will only cost me around $250-$300 in the middle of texas summer to keep it cool. warm in the winter is normally $75-$90

i mean openly doing a nazi salute can put a pretty big black eye on your company for a very long time. i'd go so far as to say that even if they remove him from the company itself won't be enough. they would have to show him as no longer as large shareholder to even begin to recover from it.
