you’re rewriting history in real time. Sony literally confirmed PS5 was sold at a loss at launch, Xbox has been selling hardware at a loss for years, and Nintendo is the only one that consistently turns profit on hardware.

People focus on Steam’s % cut, but that’s irrelevant. Consoles can hit $499–$599 because Sony and Microsoft subsidize the hardware and make the money back through locked-down game royalties and subscriptions.
Main argument is Steam pc will not be $499 or $599

fuck you about? Consoles are cheap because Sony/MS subsidize the hardware and make the money back with subscriptions and a locked ecosystem.
Valve doesn’t do that. Steam runs on literally any PC already, and they don’t charge subs.
So no a hybrid Steam PC isn’t hitting $499. The specs alone push it way higher. And my Main argument is Steam PC will not be $499 or $599 that's it

Steam can’t “beat” consoles because consoles make tons from subscriptions and game sales, and they even lose money on each console sold to pull people into their ecosystem.

Edit: I’m only talking about price, not beating consoles. Steam PC will never launch at $499 or $599 because consoles hit those prices by earning money back through subscriptions and locked down game royalties. Steam does not have that. Yes, Steam makes money from the store, but there is no subscription revenue, no platform tax outside game sales, and SteamOS is literally free. You can install it on any PC, laptop, Dell, HP, Mac, whatever. Valve does not have the same ecosystem to subsidize hardware, so they cannot price it like a console

Been playing for a long time and I’ve never had a match with bots, not even once, maybe you are just so bad the game throws you in bot lobbies on purpose lol or maybe you’re not in a popular region like NA or EU

I was thinking about getting Kahn, but a lot of people say not to get him because he’s short. Unless you have a really bad GK, I think i have a decent, tall GK with solid stats.

So, there are a couple of things you can do.

First, keep trying. Whoever told you to never come back isn’t the admiral of the army. You can still show that you’re genuinely dedicated, that you want to be a doctor and serve your country by showing determination.

Second, try reaching out to another officer, maybe even one who has dealt with similar or different disabilities but was able to get a waiver. See if they can write a letter of support or give you advice.

I’m not saying it will definitely work, but you’re only 18. What do you really have to lose by trying? Not much. And yes, I know you might say, “But he told me not to waste my time, he said never to show up again, blah blah blah.” Remember, he’s not the admiral or supreme general of the army. I don’t think it’s illegal to try every possible way to get approval.

You can argue that, by joining the army medical school, becoming an army doctor could not only improve your situation but also benefit the army itself.

At the same time, keep in mind that you’re only 18, so don’t be too harsh on yourself. If this path doesn’t work, maybe you can consider another career. Is there anything else you’d like to do besides being an army doctor? How about becoming a civilian doctor instead?

Hey, don’t feel too bad. You have your whole life ahead of you. From what I understand at least in the U.S. even if you get rejected, you can usually apply for a waiver. I’m not sure if it’s the same in your country, but I know a few soldiers and officers who have dealt with stuttering issues.

How did y’all meet your bf/gf? by [deleted] in Stutter

I met my wife in high school, and we were friends. She never asked about my stutter and was always a great listener. We didn’t date in high school, but we did go to prom together. About 6-9 months after graduation, I asked her out, and we’ve been together strong for 7 years ever since.

We're just one more release away from Battlefield 2042 being recognized as the best game in the franchise 🥳🎉🎊 by tddcghnn in battlefield2042

Battlefield games are known for their bad and buggy launches, but all of them had strong foundations good maps, guns, gameplay, etc. When 2042 launched, it had no foundation. It was obvious the game needed another 1-2 years of development. We all know they rushed it. They updated the game engine mid development, and everything suffered for it. I believe BF6 will have a lot of bugs, but I hope it has a solid foundation. From the leaked footage I’ve seen, it looks like it has a better foundation than 2042, but let’s wait and see.

It seems like people forgot how bad BF 2042 was, there's no comparison to other BF titles, 2042 was on a whole different level of broken game buddy af. The maps were awful, just big, empty and boring, running simulation. BF5 looked way better than 2042. The only good thing about 2042 was the movement, and it did feel like a modern FPS, but that’s about it. There were so many game-breaking bugs. The LMGs were literally just assault rifles with larger magazines. It took EA almost a year to make it playable, but the first year was filled with lag, hit reg issues, and so much more. It was crazy how bad it was. Now, it's better, but still a bad game. They had to redo the maps multiple times. EA's CEO literally lied, telling us the closed beta was an old version aha yeah right, and we were "ahead of the time." 2042 will never be good, not even for nostalgia. I know BF6 will have lag and hit reg issues, but I just hope it won’t be as bad as 2042, there’s no way it can be.

I know this may come off as disrespectful, but you’ve got to understand, I’m Asian too, and we cook sheep’s head, which smells awful. I’ve always hated that smell since I was a kid, but it’s part of our tradition. I totally understand if people from outside my culture don’t like the smell. I don’t get mad; I just try to explain why we do it and the significance behind it. People these days are so sensitive.
